Somewhere, in the orbits above Maltruse...Three massive Bioships became aware. Their last memories were of the battle for Lorei...Their Deaths. But...The Lorcar dont truly die. Not as such, anyways. If their knowledge or talent is useful, then their minds are 'saved' like a data file by the Lorcar, to be eborn at a later time. All Lorcar minds are crafted...Why waste those most useful, after all? Still, what could not be helped was the psychological damage caused by their defeat...They knew, of course, that they'd been reborn, and that, given their sheer size, it must have come at great cost. They were glad that they were deemed worthy of a second chance by Delton, and this was their drive...Perhaps the 'damage' would be useful. They wanted, as well, a second chance against the beings that bested them, and Delton reassured them...All in time, all in time...All would be assimilated by the Locust Hordes, the Lorcar.
