The Lorcar are living, Biological creatures, as are all of their technology...Even their ships. As such, normal means of communication dont work; they receive the transmission, however it sounds only like static noise to them.
However...They recognized that, while fast, the ship was at the least not hostile. Bees and Bumblebees-the names given to their smallest Bioships, considering they really did look like those insects, except the size of minivans and small houses-swarmed around the ship, all coming from the much, much larger Wasps and Hornet Bioships, those looking much like their namesakes, except these were the size of countries and continents, respectively. And, of course, the Hornet Queen...A Bioship the size of a planet, though it took no notice of the small ship. Flitting around between the ships were Worker Bees-The equivalent of Lorcar repair ships-and Yellow Jackets-their war frigates. Indeed, only the Bees and Bumblebees even responded towards the tiny ship. They combined what little psychic power each had individually-these small Castes are weak Psykers, after all-to send a message-directly into the new being's mind.
Why do you aliens like to send those static messages to us...? Is that some form of greeting between you? Its really...Annoying. In any case...Why are you here?
The message would also have a slight headache accompanying it; the weaker Lorcar weren't very good at transmitting psychic messages towards other species, and while a psychically-advanced species wouldn't have trouble with the message, it'd slightly overload the brains of species not as attuned to psychic abilities.
