Why not.
« on: January 14, 2010, 12:23:01 AM »
(Though the teachers (sans Hikaru) shouldn't need a sample to place me, since they've been rping with me for a while now, I'll post one anyway. Though naturally, I'll need someone else to cover my topics for my own lessons.)

As the fist falls Nisorin quickly sinks himself into the ground, emerging just outside the abomination's reach. "You are mistaken. Life gives unto death, which in turn gives unto life. That which the dead leave behind is eaten by the land, nourishing it and its children, used to perpetuate the cycle of life and death." He replies as Iroku and Irrelai aid the land, quickening the process as the plants begin to consume the barriers, using them as a food source.

"Death serves life, and life serves death. Without the two, nothing can exist. Destroy life, and the dead will pile up in the streets and forests, becoming no more animate than a ship or a sword. Destroy life, and it will starve and fall." Irrelai adds, Yoahi echoing her pose behind her as she wills the plants to spread their roots into the beast, feeding off of the nutrient-rich corpses.

"Death be good, Life be good. Both needed, both need other. No life, death no grow. No death, life no grow. Spirits come when life born, spirits leave when death come. No life, no spirits. Death need spirits, even zombie and skeleton. Death take life, but feed more life than take." Iroku finishes, the spirits of the fallen that make up Letum returning to their bodies as the spirits of those corrupted by him/it welcome the vines that spring up from the ground, feeding on the dead as the spirits retake the bodies.

Seeing the world through a child's eyes is truly a unique experience. It helps you to retrieve that sense of awe, magic and wonder that you lost as you lost your innocence. Tell me, when was the last time that you thought of those childhood dreams? You know, the ones that you used to spend all your time wondering and fantasizing about? Have you forgotten them so easily? Have you forgotten what it felt like to see something for the first time, to see the magic in the mundane? Everyone says you should take the time to 'Stop and smell the roses'. But you should also take the time to look for the fairies, embrace the wind and enjoy the rain. Just once today, stop for a moment and look into that little piece of nature you pass everyday. Perhaps you may see something you did not notice before.
