In the name of the Anrufe
« on: January 14, 2010, 08:50:37 AM »
Black Mist began to envelop Konjan's island. This wasn't ordinary mist but mist created from Negion. Laura had began a take-over. She intended to gift this place to Gallaghar later on as a don't attack the Anrufe sort of thing. Lightning struck Konjan's hut and began to cause it to light on fire as Laura descended from her perch on this planet. She would fight Konjan if he were here and destroy him to be rid of a pest.

(...Konjan's Island is on Earth, so attacking the Island is attacking Earth.)
Seeing the world through a child's eyes is truly a unique experience. It helps you to retrieve that sense of awe, magic and wonder that you lost as you lost your innocence. Tell me, when was the last time that you thought of those childhood dreams? You know, the ones that you used to spend all your time wondering and fantasizing about? Have you forgotten them so easily? Have you forgotten what it felt like to see something for the first time, to see the magic in the mundane? Everyone says you should take the time to 'Stop and smell the roses'. But you should also take the time to look for the fairies, embrace the wind and enjoy the rain. Just once today, stop for a moment and look into that little piece of nature you pass everyday. Perhaps you may see something you did not notice before.

(:D Time for a fight with one of my weakest characters, then. I sense some character development in the future.. I should request this character, but considering its just being used for this fight right now, as long as it doesn't leave this topic it's fine.)

Konjan sighed from his couch as the roof of his hut suddenly caught fire. Here he was in the middle of the Simpsons, and some moron (with an interesting power signature) had to interrupt it by lighting his house on fire. That was twice this month that someone from his old life had visited him. What was going on these days!? Konjan hadn't heard from anyone in ten years, and now all at once they were all visiting him?

He coughed violently, a sign that he was getting old. He wasn't immortal anymore. Could he really afford the fight this fight, despite the fact that the features in him which allowed him to fight were gone? Sure, he still had his magic and years of training, but he wasn't as strong as he once was, and if he got the slightest close inch with death, he would be there in an instant.

Well, what did he have to loose, anyhow? I mean, if he didn't fight, his island would be taken, it seemed. If he did fight, at least he'd die with dignity instead of as a coward. Still, ouch. The thought of death scared Konjan, especially if he was going up against a young sage, unlike he who had grown old since he released his immortality.

Konjan held up his hand in the direction of the growing fire. A portal in the ocean surrounding his island opened, and the other end of the portal opened within the fire. From out of the portal poured gallons of water. As soon as the fire was out, Konjan was quick to close the portal. He jumped into the air and held his place there, floating as his hut was flooded. So much for watching the Simpsons.

Before the smoke above the hut could clear, it began to form into a shape and remain there. It was the shape of a giant hand. The smoke hand began to reach out towards Laura. It was grasping for her, trying to grab her. She had picked the wrong person to piss off.. Konjan did not intend to come out of retirement, and if that meant he had to fight a bit more, he would do it. He just hoped he'd live.

Before he could even launch into a magical attack Laura had sensed him gathering energy and so she decided to end this in a pleasurable way for her victim and reached out with her mind to his and began to bring forth illusions of his most pleasant memories in front of him while dodging his attack. She preffered not to kill if at all possible. She merely wanted this island to have a hidden home away from the Anrufe.

Valor however appeared. He didn't like Laura not one bit and so he drew his Curicite Divae Sword. He let the blue of calm travel down the blade of the sword and light it with blue flames as Avidan had taught him to do without damaging such a fine work of art as the blade he wielded. "Yo Konjan, need some help?"

"Not really," replied Konjan as the shadow hand grabbed a hold of Laura. (should have done something about that hand, Hawkeye.) Visions of sugar plumbs and guardian dimension classrooms ran through his head as the result of some weird spell his opponent had casted. Maybe Konjan could do this after all. He'd already captured the enemy in his spell.

"!Ome kut co tia weep ota meek biza goma!"

Laura was pulled into the smoke. She now found herself seemingly inside a dark room. She was binded in place, as her real body was still on Konjan's Island, being binded by the smoke. However, in her state of mind, she was inside this dark room, without the ability to move.. And out came the great power hidden within the room.

There was a growl. A roar of some sorts. From out of the darkness and into the eyes of Laura stepped a great beast.. It was a dragon made of smoke, angry. Growling and more growling. Who was this girl who was intruding on her home? The smoke dragon gave a great gust produced with his wings as he retreated into the darkness before lunging forward towards Laura.

Laura then freed herself by severing the flow of energy going into her mind and the moment  she was free she teleported away. To Lesh.
