Trapped Conjuring
« on: January 15, 2010, 08:54:56 PM »
Valor had spent most of the day in the ancient caves on Nosvasia drawing a magical picture of Celestie. He then began to modify the picture to temporarily block off her ability to use magic so that he could fight Nisorin for leadership of the Relorian Empire without her able to assist Nisorin. The thing was, he didn't want to slaughter them but merely to gain control of Reloria and then to turn it against the Anrufe quite easily. This trap was easy as Nisorin wouldn't expect such a thing that would kill them off quite easily if they disobeyed him in this, he would let the spell completely run it's course and kill Celestie. He then walked out to the beach. He then threw down runes to first summon Nisorin, to second summon Celestie and to 3rd, Envelop Celestie in a magic that Nisorin had no experience with to keep her safe from this battle. He then walked back up to the caves and with a flick of his wrist activated the magic of the runes. "Nisorin will die today. "

As Valor spent his time carving little symbols into shit Rogue was still increasing the size of the storm that was slowly turning the planet into a large sun, the entire planet's ocean was beginning to boil, it's atmosphere was nearly gone, it's flora and fauna were pretty much extinct, and not to mention that the temperature all around was nearly three hundred degrees Fahrenheit. The violet clouds of fire began to spread above Valor, raining bolts of flame down like drops of water in a thunderstorm. The runes were engulfed in flame, if Valor didn't do anything quickly his spell would be ruined. Since the runes were the medium for the spell, and if the spell's medium was destroyed in the spell's casting phase it would fizzle. A common slang used in Sage circles meaning it would fail.

"You smell like a traitor, like a thief, and like a coward.. I hate cowards." Rogue murmured as he stumbled from the boiling sea, he was soaked to the bone but otherwise fine for just walking through scalding hot water.

"I'm going to kill you."

Valor "I may be a traitor, but I did that to gain something of value to present to Nisorin later and once I summon him it will be accomplished. Even you however are not a match for me now but since I am in a merciful mood. " He then opened a portal inside Rogue's body.  "You won't die like I normally would kill you. "

And the portal closed, it didn't even get to half a millimeter before Rogue responded with his own magic. "Traitorrrrr, traaaaiiitttooorrr, ttttrrraaaaaaiiiiitttoooorr!" The seemingly mad demi-god began to roar, singing it over and over again like a lullaby. "I'll burn the traitor! Burn him to a crisp! He screamed at the top of his lungs, God Fire surging forth from his body like a three-hundred and sixty degree flamethrower. The fire forming above him into something that resembling a large falcon, a large fiery falcon.. "Burn him! Burn him until naught but ash remains!" Rogue screamed, sounding impatient and excited, giggling with joy as the falcon began to dive straight towards Valor, opening it's maw with the intent to swallow the betrayer whole.

(Just because you don't know how to beat it doesn't mean it's godmodding Hawkeye. Besides, if you had stopped Rogue from getting too far in summoning the flame to begin with, you wouldn't have this problem now.)

A portal opened up before the Pheonix, with the exit portal redirecting the flaming bird into space. A small, four legged robot scurried into the cave, its shielding rapidly deforming, a flash of light as if from a camera illuminating the cave for a moment. It launched a small ball into the air, from with sound poured forth.

"That one is mine, Rogue. He must be made to pay for his crimes, yes, but you will not be the one to do it. His head and his life are 'hers' to take, and the reaper is coming." The ball said, before both its and the robot's shields failed, and the machines quickly melted.
Seeing the world through a child's eyes is truly a unique experience. It helps you to retrieve that sense of awe, magic and wonder that you lost as you lost your innocence. Tell me, when was the last time that you thought of those childhood dreams? You know, the ones that you used to spend all your time wondering and fantasizing about? Have you forgotten them so easily? Have you forgotten what it felt like to see something for the first time, to see the magic in the mundane? Everyone says you should take the time to 'Stop and smell the roses'. But you should also take the time to look for the fairies, embrace the wind and enjoy the rain. Just once today, stop for a moment and look into that little piece of nature you pass everyday. Perhaps you may see something you did not notice before.

Valor then thought of a counter spell and one came to him. It was a simple spell and one that would be easy to use. He pointed one finger at the godfire. "praefoco prefoco exitium" The godfire would now burn itself instead of him away. The next step would be more difficult, getting rid of Rogue easily. How could he pull off such a thing and would it leave him in a deteriorated state of magic to fight Nisorin if he arrived thanks to the spell? He then wove a displacement field around the planet making Rogue's efforts seem invain. "Face it Rogue, you are weak and old and I am young and strong. To the victors go the spoils. I will take your soul and use it as a tooth pick. "

The other mages still alive on their planet began to funnel their magic together into a mass teleportation spell and they all got away safely.

Valor then said "Art of the Nerves, Precision blast."  He then fired a blast at Rogue's chest penetrating through it and striking the nerves taking away his ability to control godfire. "Let's see you live without that. "

"No! He's mine! Mine! Mine! Mine! I will burn him!" The Demi-God screamed like a denied child, bigger and bigger the storm above them began to become, nearly eighty percent of the planet was aflame, there was no saving it now. "I'll burn him," The little fire bug roared, jittering with anticipation. "I'll dance in his ashes, I'll piss on his mother's face!" He yelled, screaming his little threats like an angry soldier caught with his pants down.

The area around them was hot as hell, but it wasn't burning. It seemed that Rogue wanted to kill this man himself.

((So yeah, you're still getting attacked by the Fire Falcon.))

Since their message was ignored, the newcomers decided upon a different strategy. Since the cave was still a survivable temperature, a small portal was opened up in the cave, just big enough for Valor to jump through, though the destination was so far away that neither man would be able to recognize it.

Valor quickly jumped through the portal though he had third degree wounds and could not fight Nisorin easily in his current state and so unless they healed him he was unlikely to fight to the fullest of his abilties meaning he would die too easily.

"And he ran.. So pathetic." Rogue muttered, the flame covering one hundred percent of the world.. Nosvasia was now a small violet star.

"I rename this star.. Taelia!" Rogue roared to the world, announcing to the entirety of existence that this was his sun, his world, his domain.
