The Type is the ship blueprint, basically, and is what you request in the Tech Request forum. The Class is simply the size class. Also, Corvettes do not need to be requested, only Capitals, Super Capitals, and Titans do. So, just request the Phoenix in the Tech Request forum with details as to what exactly it is.
