editing fix and 3 characters per week
« on: October 03, 2009, 12:11:38 AM »
I propose a fix to the editing, and upping the amount of characters per week to 3.

The number of weekly character requests will remain at two. This is plenty enough, since we will end up having at least a few beginner level RPers. To be honest, even you don't need more than two anyway, assuming you're running just the Starclan. You and I were the only ones who ever had a problem with the character request amount. Keep your characters from dying, and you won't need to request any more than you already have.

As for the editing, we are already looking into it and do plan to fix it.
Seeing the world through a child's eyes is truly a unique experience. It helps you to retrieve that sense of awe, magic and wonder that you lost as you lost your innocence. Tell me, when was the last time that you thought of those childhood dreams? You know, the ones that you used to spend all your time wondering and fantasizing about? Have you forgotten them so easily? Have you forgotten what it felt like to see something for the first time, to see the magic in the mundane? Everyone says you should take the time to 'Stop and smell the roses'. But you should also take the time to look for the fairies, embrace the wind and enjoy the rain. Just once today, stop for a moment and look into that little piece of nature you pass everyday. Perhaps you may see something you did not notice before.

It depends on the situation, I think. Like on the GE before Comex hosted it for us on Lyokoscan, all I was using was my requested characters who had formed their own group, rather than simply forming an empire. In a situation like that, I'd think the 15 character limit wouldn't be all that bad.

15 is a bit too much. I think 10 would be the limit.

*shrugs* I still say it depends on the situation, but meh. 10's good.

I'd say that 15 would be better.

Hawk, first of all, if it gets to 15, it would be confusing. I believe 10 would be pushing the limit. And I agree with Rogue. You make too many characters, and most of them die. Try not to kill off your characters, and you'll do fine.

No. 10 is the limit, in fact, I think it should be lower.

That's too low.

I'm better with about seven max characters at a time. It may be a good idea to require each character to have its own account.

No, please. That's a real pain in the ass.

Like you'd need to have a Lesserlake account as well as a Gaser account.
