On Magimeta an entire battalion of Narrikians was standing near a podium surrounding one man clad in formal business like attire. It seemed he was in charge of the bunch. The station of life for Zane had changed quite a lot. Sending up a burst in the form of letters Zane looked at the keeper that was in orbit.
Send down a man to talk with me.

The Keeper sent down a diplomat. "What is it?"

"I assume you are aware of the group among you known as the DACI? Well we captured 80 men of them and killed them for an attack on our ally, the Zarethians. As a result of said slaughter we are now in possession of 78 fighters, as we blew up 2 when we were trying to kill the people inside of the fighters."

Not only did he have a partition around his mind to protect it skillfully cast, but he also had other defenses in his mind as well designed to keep out any telepathic intruders as well.

"And I am willing to offer a trade. It seems my boss wants the Daci dead. Every last one of them as it turns out. And you want your 78 fighters back if I am not mistaken? Well kill all the DACI, and drop their bodies off at the Mexta Space Station and the fighters shall return to Aralia. One other thing. If the Daci do come back we will show no mercy against any Aralang that is in our territories. So a word to the wise, keep them out of the homes of our allies."

"Why would we want to kill the DACI, and how are the fighters of any importance to us?"

"You don't wish having war do you? Your daci attacked unprovoked one of our allies. And the fighters seem to have your technology inside of them to a very great degree. " said Zane looking at the Aralang. His mind was shielded from the Aralang by use of magic to protect him.

"What?" the Aralang asked out loud in surprise. "Give us all of the Fighters immediately! And you're saying that DACI were using it?"

"Exactly I am saying the Daci were using your fighters before they ended up dead.  And as for returning your fighters, once you kill the DACI completely you will receive your fighters back. I have no time to deal with those idiots and my boss does not like them and views them as Grunder, and Worlds Without Boundaries.  Currently 70 of your fighters have been returned. We are unsure of returning the other 18 in case the DACI come again to cause us problems."  Once those words were spoken, Zane became quiet.

?You will get the rest once the DACI have been dealt with. Such is the will of our leader. And it also gives us time to program our space turrets to blast the fighters out of orbit when the fighters come back into orbit again. We don?t like having to deal with the same trick more than once in the same manner. So until you can prove the DACI are all killed you will not receive the rest of your fighters.? Those words were spoken by Zane.

Zane would not want to deal with the Daci twice he hoped and also he hoped it would be easier on the Narrikians once the  fight ended and so he stopped. For a moment he would be patient with this Aralang.

"You don't understand how much of a disgrace it is to us when people misuse Aralang technology! We need all of them, and we need all of them now!" The Aralang shook his head. "As far as we know, the DACI might be pretty hard to deal with. You need to give us all of the ships. It would benefit both you and I, if you are really having trouble with the DACI."

"They are not a problem fully yet. But if they become more like worlds without boundaries or Grunder has been, then they will be a problem and we will resort to a new method of dealing with them." said Zane looking at the Aralang. "Submit proof to me when you have killed the DACI and I will provide you all of your fighters back."

"We need proof of what you're saying. We need all of the Fighters to confirm what happened. We're not going to take this for granted. We're not taking down the DACI until we've confirmed that what you're saying is true."

Knowing they would try something like this Zane removed a disc and tossed it to the diplomat. The disc contained files of the DACI hijacking each of the aralang fighters. "Took this from the data banks of each fighter." Looking at the Aralang he said to him "If one more Daci shows up expect an attack on Aralia."

(I don't think you posted that you took data from each Fighter, but...)

The diplomat grabbed the disk. He looked at it, and shook his head. He waved the disc to him, and calmly said, "How do I know this isn't fabricated? Besides, this is not enough. All we know, you could be just wanting the DACI dead for some reason, and decided to use us to kill the. We need the source, the actual proof. If you want us to help you, then you shouldn't be so harsh on us. Even if we do attack them, it doesn't mean they won't attack you again."

He then sighed. "Listen. If you won't bring the Fighters to us, then we will go to the Fighters. It's your choice. There would be a lot more trouble if we go to the Fighters, so it's best if you bring them to us."

The fighters had been stored in a pocket dimension.  And the pocket dimension had been filled with spells designed to warp reality and distort the senses. Further the entire pocket dimension had been filled with luciferous mist and scientists were there with seals on them that prevented the mist from affecting them at all as a matter of fact. The Aralangs would go to the fighters? This would be a laugh.

Of course Zane realized that in all likelihood this Aralang was in fact not joking with him. It would be trouble for both of them if he were to try and send aralangs to obtain the fighters. Which of course they needed at the moment so giving them all up was not an option at the moment in time.

Pushing a button on his glove Zane sent a signal to one of the scientists to bring out the first fighter which had been cleaned up, and had all traces of the hack stored inside of it that the Daci did. A single aralang fighter appeared near them with the databanks completely accessible. The only thing was all the data the fighter held had been backed up elsewhere as well.  "Here is your proof. A single one of the fighters with the databanks completely unmessed with. All that was done was a complete backup of the entire system of the fighter which has been stored elsewhere for the time being."

The Keeper beamed the Fighter aboard and began scanning the ship, as well as began to get the data from the Fighter. "All of them," the diplomat insisted. "If you want us to effectively destroy them, we need all of them. It's not just the data, but everything the Fighter has."

Aralangs apparently are known for their persistence in matters. It was a quality most admirable for a moment. Watching the beaming occur Zane was impressed until his holopad wristband began to display a message for him to take a look at. After reading over the message at first Zane was shocked but sighed and pushed the red button on his gauntlet. All the remaining fighters except 2 arrived. Of course all the tech inside had been magically duplicated and put inside the pocket dimension as had each fighter.

Research would be done with the magically created aralang fighters so that they could learn what made those fighters tick and get the assignment accomplished anyway. So now he said to the diplomat. "You have your fighters now except 2 that got destroyed during the engagement. Also I wouldn't enter the fighters since we filled them with luciferous mist to kill the Daci operatives inside before removing their bodies. Not unless you can get rid of the mist, and an AM field will only make the mist that much more deadly. We take precautions when there is trouble brewing. Now I must be going. My orders are to shore up the defenses of the Narrikians on every planet to make preparations in case we get visitors."

Ordering his batallion to teleport off planet, Zane watched as each member of his battallion grouped into groups of five and took out teleport spheres. Setting the coordinates for one of the bases ruled by the Narrikians each group took off immediately finally leaving only Zane behind.

The Keeper beamed up the Fighters. It scanned and read the data from the Fighters. The mist has been contained for further research.

The diplomat eyed Zane suspiciously. "You first said that there are 78 Fighters, then you said that there are 88, and then you're saying that there's 80 of them. Are you trying to fool us?" He grew angry. "Give us every single Fighter you have! Destroyed or not destroyed!"

Zane simply held out his hand and a golden dragon symbol appeared in the sky.  Various lights formed in the sky and fused with the dragon symbol. This would be his way of responding as suddenly all the aralang fighters, except for the ones duplicated by his men reappeared.  "There. You have all of your fighters....."

Except for the ones that had been created by the Narrikians based off of the blueprints made from several scans of them of course. And also the ones that had been duplicated were not brought of course.

The Keeper took the rest, scanned them, and read the data from them. "Alright," the diplomat said. "We do have some concerns about it. As far as the data shows, they have information on a technological device that can destroy entire dimensions, and that they follow an undisclosed leader."

"Well then it seems I must warn the Narrikians and prepare for war against the Daci. It is time that their threat was brought to a stop. So if you excuse me I have a lot of research to do. Also could I have one of the crystals I saw on the fighters? Just for the sake of analysis purposes as it seemed to have a bit of a magic signature and well the Narrikians need more tech basically at this point. "  said Zane.

"Darn. I had hoped to examine those crystals and add one or two of them to the catalog of magical artifacts. They seemed awfully similar to something a research team found underground on Stariana, near the core of the planet actually." said Zane.
