The former leader of the Elite Guard Rezick passed command of it to his son Carl as he had too much on his plate with the leadership of both the Narrikians and the genetic experiments. As a result changes have been implemented among the elite guard so as to better cause them to succeed at their mission. The first change was a ban on any technology that incorporates AM for operatives. The reason for this change was so that the primarily magic using empires don?t loathe the elite guard when they are called in to handle assignments the normal Narrikians won?t. Also they have become downsized. The downsizing was a way to keep tabs on more of the operatives and keep the size of the group smaller. Also technologically they have become more advanced along with scientifically and intelligence wise. Currently they have operatives among every single planet except the inhospitable ones and those operatives gather intelligence for them. Led by Carl this has become a group that is more of a division of the Narrikians that is top secret. No one knows this group exists and for good reason too.
Furthermore this group operates in secret and without any sanction or authority from the standard government. What this means is that the group is not known except by Rezick who secretly condones the actions sometimes required by the group. Operatives that are retired from this group usually have their memories of this group erased and filled in with fake memories that are totally normal for them in order to maintain secrecy. Sometimes this group is called in by Rezick to handle the things none of his normal agents can legally do, and thus this is one of the perks of not officially existing as the group can handle a lot of tasks that no normal group can.
Culture wise they are very secretive.
