The band of mercenaries that belonged to Hiro were one of the most professional groups that existed. And thus when choosing security for a wedding you could not do much better than them. At least such was the hope of Silen as he made the call from Zed to Earth specifically their base on his galaxy phone.

Hello Mercs. I have a contract for you. A simple task really. You will oversee the security of a wedding. You will ensure no one crashes it, blows it up, launches deadly weapons or does any sort of thing that could distract from the wedding. And that includes trying to seal the planet. Or destroy it. We will send you a ship that will transport you. As payment we will upgrade your ship, add some new shielding to it and some new weapons. Also 50,000 credits will be paid to each one of you. Provided of course you succeed.

Flora was the only one inside at the time, at least with the authority to decide stuff like this. "Uh...Who is this? If yer looking for Hiro, he's outside right now, talking with some people. We might be able to take the contract, but we can provide our own transportation, and it'll need to wait until everyone else is done with these others."

What Silen saw on the galaxy phone was the face of Flora, and he did not think she was one of the mercenaries. But the way she carried herself was like one of them to an extreme degree. So he looked at her and said simply. "My name is Silen. Now all I need is to get in touch with Hiro. All he has to do is send a team to make sure a wedding goes off without a hitch and by that I mean without any problems. If accepted you will receive the coordinates, and a temporary radar sig that will tell our self defense platforms we have built not to utterly obliterate your ship. Stupid Anrufe, WWB and Daci. Miserable idiots of Grunder. Why couldn't they leave well enough alone?"

She shrugged in her green kimono, and said,"Shouldn't be too much trouble. When they're back, I'll let them know, and the contract can be started!"

"How many can you field at this current time to ensure the wedding goes off without a hitch?" Those words were ones filled with worry. Silen did not want his wife to be to be attacked or injured at all for that matter.

That depends, really, I'd have to ask-Oh, Hiro, so Sara got my message?"
"Yep, and passed it to me. So, you've got a contract? Well, we're testing a new recruit, to see if he can join up, but after that we're largely free. Make an offer, eh?"

Alright. So this mercenary was reasonable and willing to negotiate. Good. Now to make him an offer that would work for both of them."As I need security at the wedding we have in some of our own possession something new, some technology that might be able to be added to your ship. If it works you will have more than just the glassing beam at your disposal. We have obtained the blueprints for aralang technology and will add one of their main cannons to your ship. Of course such an addition will cost you and if you want it that means you better be sure nothing happens at the wedding that is off key. No bombs, toxins, assassins, hit-men?etc. We also need to find a nice and quiet place to hold it that is not victim to many of the wars that has hit this realm as of late. We will also throw in 40 grand upon completion."

Well now it would come down to this. "Fine, 500 grand. You show up make sure the wedding is secure, and when it happens I mean NOTHING should interfere. As far as it depends on you. Your ship will be left as it is, and we shall deactivate our self defense platforms. Also how would one of you like the job of building us a listening station on this planet so we have eyes and ears in this galaxy once more?"
