AND as well as eating every spell I cast? I had to do something. Or you'd have been untouchable as you ate every damn spell I used. That in my opinion is godmodding.
She's just in another Plane that is neither Physical or Astral, figure it out.

Because only the Aralangs are able to detect it. More specifically, Elite Aralangs and Aralangs that are connected to ships. They ARE pretty much masters of telepathy.

That they're the masters of telepathy. It's like mages are able to detect magic signatures, while Aralangs could not. And no, you're not going to suddenly figure out how to find mind signatures.

Maybe she doesn't exist at all? Maybe she's just a plain illusion, Nisorin? Maybe she really did disappear? NOBODY has thought of artificial planes, with the possible exception of the Aralang Thought Plane.

So just because they're the 'masters of telepathy' they are the only ones capable of learning through use? As I'd said, Relorians, particularly the Orion-bound ones. Why would they not be able to discover it? Even more so when they now benefit from the combined knowledge of an entire race of a magic-based culture.

As for your other note, I have to get the dishes done and head to bed for work in the morning, so I will touch on it when I get home.

Not even just any Aralang has the ability. You need to be an Elite Aralang or an Aralang fastened to a ship. So yeah... just because they're the 'masters of telepathy'. Why? Cuz I say so. Why should that matter? Cuz I came up with mind signatures, and I have the right to decide how it's detected. Otherwise, Hikaru would know about the mind signature.

Off topic, I know, but I didn't realize it actually did break up the messages when it was over the limit. I figured AIM would put them back together before sending them on. Guess not.

Anyway, I still don't see any reason why he can't make that assumption just because I OOC only learned about it's possibility then. If I'd known about it earlier, he would have done it several posts ago as it is, and would have in the other battle that got nulled. It's as simple as that. And if she was casting from the other side of the rip, she would have had to have been using SE to coat her magic, which he would have locked onto in the blink of an eye.

As for the mind signatures, I understand that you created them but that alone doesn't mean no one else can make use of it. Especially since, as I'd said, Iroku is the Relorian equivalent of Leserlake. And since magic can do anything biology and technology can do, why couldn't it detect and utilize mind signatures? And just saying 'Because I said so' isn't a sufficient answer.

No. You cannot say he would have known it if you'd known it. Your character doesn't know outside knowledge or it's metagaming. Hikaru had to learn it from the Records of Time. Your character WOULD NOT know it, or it'd be metagaming.

Example. Gaser tested my character back in the documents thing. She knew it yes, but not until much later in the battle even though I knew it. THEN when I had her know it, I explained in paragraph why she had come to that conclusion. Not just a sudden "OMG HE'S TESTING ME!" If your character knows the crap you know, provide reason IN PARAGRAPH of why the hell he suddenly got that damn conclusion.

As for coating with SE. No. She controls the Virus and had it infect the dimension. The fields would have gone off.

Nisorin, saying that you would have assumed it IC earlier if you had known OOC about it earlier is a definite giveaway that you're metagaming. If you didn't know about it OOC, then you would be sticking true to your character's knowledge.

Sure, he's the Relorian equivalent, but what's keeping him from having the same ability Aralangs have is that he's a Relorian, not an Aralang. Relorians don't have a thought plane. Aralangs They don't have a Relorian Linking System. Aralangs do. Aralangs can have some abilities while others can't. It's like some have Revelation and Genesis Magic, while others don't. Some have Phoenix abilities, some don't. This is a case of some having Aralang abilities, and some don't. It goes by the same concept, so yes, it is 'because I said so'.

He's a shaman, planeswalking is in the job description. He lives on both planes, swapping back and forth numerous times a day. Hell, damn near the only thing keeping him on the physical plane is Irrelai. He can move from one to the other with barely a thought by now, since he's been doing it since he was a little kid. That kind of familiarity, while not really a specialty, would, I'd think, be reason enough for him to know about the possibility of creating a 'pocket plane.' To be honest, I'd think just about anyone versed in planes-walking would know about that. I also think it'd be a lot more difficult than you made it seem.

Gaserlake, how can I stick true to my character's knowledge when he would know something that I OOC am completely unaware of? And as for your linking crap, isn't that little more than a widespread telepathic network with a custom-made plane as a sort of connection hub? If so, then any multi-person telepathic conversation would utilize mind signatures as well, since they'd essentially be a local-only variant of your linking system, isn't that right? They'd act as a sort of telepathic variant of an IP address, from the way you've described your link. And just saying 'because I said so' is never an acceptable answer no matter what the question is. It's vague, certainly not an actual reason, and has never been accepted on the board before no matter what the context was. So why should we treat you any different?

Every friggen post I make it seems like my characters know more than I do about SP, which is quite the problem, as I'm sure both of you would agree with.

Sorry Nisorin... but there's soo many damn things wrong with your post it's not even fun anymore.

1. Kotah and Ezael were outside the pocket-dimension by the time Hikaru gave the order for them to be infected. Gaser's Virus wouldn't have touched the dimensional wall of it as the kids were outside it.

2. The Outerverse is INFINITE, there are no walls unless you make them. But just Iroku and Koraiten? It'd kill you to spread your signature around the whole damn thing. That's not even possible for a level 5. You'd have to have tons and tons of mages to help with that. Two people would have burnt out in even trying it. And the Outerverse has to have its magic taken to use it. You can't just tap into all the magic of it and use it to surround its self. Doesn't work that way. I created the Outerverse, I know.

3. Boundries between planes? Um, there is none. Or the conversion wouldn't be as easy, and it'd lose part of what you're converting. There is no boundry between them. They're like a stack of papers. Also, you said pocket plane before I pointed it out. That's metagaming even if you're pointing it out. Because I never said it yet.

4.Outerverse does not accept more than one master. The signature can be used to dilute. But to take over and ties it self? Only one signature can actually tie its self to the Outerverse at a time. The rest can just overwhelm. Otherwise the OV wouldn't know who owns it. One only.

...And just off topic. You dare call ME a coward? At least I can win this with only one mage. You on the other hand have to pull 6 damn mages on me. Striking from the shadows and hiding is nothing compared to fighting 6 on 1. I wasn't fighting with the Virus and the Spirit Energy. She was just trying to overwhelm the OV. You on the other hand are fighting 6 on 1. Disqualified!!!!!!! If it was a tournament..

The kids weren't the only ones being infected. You did say to 'infect that silly woman' as well, and the virus complied, attempting to infect Irrelai. Celestie's barrier around the kids was what stalled the infection of them, not the pocket-dimension walls.
There are walls, as evidenced in the fight between the mage coalition and the Aralang Special Forces, when Hikaru was kidnapped at they took the Outerverse over. And as for burning out, one wouldn't need all that much power, relatively speaking of course, if you used it efficiently. One only needs an atom-thick layer to create a ward that functions through form. And as they've been collecting the Outerverse's magic into the Rroho for several posts now, I'd say your last point in this note is irrelevant, as they have been taking it for themselves.
Even stacks of papers have boundaries between each sheet, space between them however small it may be. If the planes do act as layers, as you've described yourself, then they would have the same fundamental rules as any other layer of something.
It is only one signature. If you would reread the post, the energy conveying the signature is synced to Iroku's signature before flooding the Outerverse.

I gave you chances to avoid something like this. And to be honest, if Hikaru really is as powerful as you say, fighting off six mages of an 'inferior' race shouldn't be a problem, now should it? Besides, it's not my fault you aren't creative enough to use what you already have available to you to even the odds.

"You, who willingly associate yourself with an abomination such as the Beast, who willingly slaughter your own people, enslave their bodies as if they mean nothing, require punishment, discipline. Your brothers, while not having fallen as far as you have Hikaru Tyris, are in no shape to perform this duty. And so, we shall carry out this duty as Judge, Jury and Executor. Once your sentence has been carried out, you will be granted what it is you seek so vehemently." They call out, their six distinct signatures warping and forming into two.

This is null as there is no forge because your signatures never passed.

How he could not even prevent the atrocities right before his eyes, his inability to take hold of the Sages, of his kin, and teach them to behave. How he continues to push all away in the name of the Sages, while his own sister threatens to destroy everything. "Welcome to my home, Mr. K2323 Tyris, false Prince of the Genesis Sages. You'll find departure quite impossible until I allow it."

Hikaru, however, finds herself in a far different place, one flooded with a feeling of familiarity. She stands in a small garden, surrounded by sweet-smelling flowers, facing a 2 story house. Voices can be heard from inside, including one that sounds suspiciously similar to her own. Magic and use of spirit energy end in nothing, as if neither were at all possible within this relatively small world. Even Hikaru's control over fire, granted to her by her Phoenix heritage, does not function here.

The three 'worlds' exist only within the blackness, borne of a new magic, infused into the Weaves of the Sons of Plunder and Iroku and formed directly around those drawn into them.

A short distance from the Outerverse side of the blackness, Animas arrives, fading into existence as if summoned there. Their twin voices, speaking into the now empty air, echo slightly. "And so it begins. Our power, left behind from ages unknown, is hereby divided amongst these seven, a number sacred in magic and in spirit. With it, we bequeath to them our will, that the Planes be shattered by war, so that they may rise above those without honor and forge the new world, standing tall and proud, seven as one." Bound to the place as the Embodiment of Love, their business with the fallen princess keeps even the Outerverse from evicting them.

This part is null because K2323 stopped it from happening in my response post. Your post acted as if this quoted segment wasn't null. There IS no forge and they weren't engulfed in another world. You can't absorb the signatures because I stopped you.
