DAIS Absolution, Observation Deck
Delta sits and looks out the windows of the Observation Deck. Information went through his mind like a wildfire, but this was fairly normal for an AI of his scale. He wasn?t aware of it, but he was rampant. No doubt about it. His hologram paces around, glancing a few times at the various paintings from history he had recreated, 4-decked chess boards, and various other hobbies that occupied his time. The primates he had stolen this ship from had absolutely no intellectual literature. The most he found was a crude version of Dr. Suess?s ?The Cat in the Hat?, and a 3rd grade math book. These brutes didn?t even deserve to handle technology or magic for that matter.
Luckily for him, he had the pleasure of living on Aralia during the days of Grunder Ind. Vast libraries of literature, technology in abundance, and even a great collection of magic literature (Tepper?s collection). He thanked himself sometimes for archiving and cataloging everything he had come into contact with. He walks into the barracks, which he had converted into his own library of books he rewrote from his memory. He had even remodeled it to look like a contemporary 20th century human library. He looks up at the vast shelves, searching for a particular book? He finds it and opens ?David Copperfield? and begins to read it.
About half way through, he looks around as his hologram starts to flicker from his usual blue color to red. Flashbacks of his ?birth? started to appear.

?The lights went dark, and then back on again. A small blue hologram appears in the middle of an empty room surrounded by some dark figures. The hologram looks around. Before he could speak, one of the men speaks.
?Delta. You are the Delta AI, Please confirm.?
Delta looks around. The only light was from his own hologram. ?I am the Delta Artificial Intelligence. Serial Number- 000000001?
The Men look at each other before another speaks. ?What is your primary directive??
?I am to oversee the outer colonies.? he awaits a response.
?Good, Delta. How would you like to meet the Alpha??
Delta looks up as binary code flies across his hologram and he becomes brighter. ?The Alpha?? No one really knows why, not even the AIs themselves, know why they are obsessed with the Alpha. Maybe it? because he was the first, or maybe its because they were once part of him. They lead him down a hall into another room where a Cyan colored AI stands, looking out the window. He turns to see Delta.
?Delta?? he looks at the ISAF Commander and asks,? Is he stable??
He silently nods. There was another AI before Delta, the Beta. She existed for a very short time. When Beta was created from Alpha, she broke down and became very unstable. So, Alpha had to save her by assimilating her into him, thus making him True Alpha, although most ISAF would call him Alpha anyways for short. Alpha walks over to him and examines him.

Delta looks around, his vision was still hazy. He starts to recall a conversation he had with the Epsilon AI soon after his creation.

Rage stands near a window looking out of it, similar to when Delta first saw Alpha. He walks up behind the Epsilon AI.
?Epsilon, what happened to Beta?? Delta asks him.
Rage turns around slowly? ?Call me Rage? Alpha doesn?t like it when we talk about Beta.? His facial expression turns somewhat gloomy.
?Why not?? Delta asks. He wanted to know more about Beta, but no one ever told him anything other than ?She didn?t make it?
?Who knows. Alpha is a little confusing sometimes.? Rage shrugs at him and turns his attention to the command screen as the comms start to go off. ?Incoming contacts. Osean Federation ships incoming to planet Kilo.?
<End Flashback (Confused yet?)>
Delta pauses?. He looks around his technological monastery. He had done a few modifications to the ship. It resembled more of a technological holy grail. He had used all of his knowledge to upgrade the weapons, tech, and even to go as far as redesign the interior. He had removed the ship?s name from the side and replaced ?Absolution? with ?Particular Justice? A tribute to his favorite fleet. The Narikians probably wouldn?t even recognize their ship even if they saw it.
He sighs in frustration and walks back to his room in the Observation deck. He looks back out at the barren star system. These planets were uninhabitable by organic life, and void of outside interference. Although it was semi-pointless, he catapulted a plaque into the system?s orbit reading, ?Epsilon-Delta Star System. Est. 2055?
He looks out in satisfaction and sits down on a chair and tries to relax. Instead of relaxing, like he had wanted too, he ran battle simulations in his head about if the Narikians came for there ship? he calculated what they?d send. He knew that the ships would be controlled by organics rather than having actual computer systems on them to accurately aim weapons, do damage control, navigate, or anything else accurately. This would be a slaughter. He finished the scenario and put it in an archive with all the others.
[Battle Skirmish Scenario- 09278426]
Allied Forces- 1 Super-Capitol Ship, with various weapons, and advanced AI control.
Combat effectiveness- 99.9999999999 %
Opposing Forces- 1 Titan, with organic controlled systems...
7 Super Capitol Ships, Organic controlled Systems.
10 Capitol Ships, Organic controlled systems.
Various Small craft, Organic controlled systems.
Combat Effectiveness- 4.1222222222 %
Result- AI Delta Victory, 1 Titan taken, 2 Super Capitol ships taken, 3 Capitol Ships taken. Various small craft taken. 4 Super Capitols destroyed, 1 retreated. 5 Capitol ships destroyed, 2 retreated.
Fleet Status of Narikians- 1 SC, 2 CS, N+1 small craft. [Critical]
Fleet Status of AI Delta- 1 Modified Super Capital Ship, 1 Narikian Titan, 2 SC, 3 CS. N+1+1 various small craft. [Fair]
Analysis, because of the Narikian?s ability to accurately use ship systems unaided, AI Delta took control of critical systems (Engines and Power) and forced evacuations of the captured ships. Upgraded long range weaponry eliminates 2 Super Capital Ships, and 3 Capital Ships destroyed by long range, AI assisted, weapons before Enemy forces were in range. Following maneuvers destroy 1 Super Capital, and 2 Capital Ships. Weakened enemy tries to flee range of Pulse Cannon, with the exception of 1 Titan and 1 Super Capital. AI Delta, Forces Evacuation of Titan and uses weapons on remaining Capital ship. Enemy regroups, and charges again. 1 Super Capital destroyed by LR Weapons. Forced Evacuation of 2 Super Capitals, and 3 Capital Ships by AI Delta. Enemy retreats? AI Delta Fleet does not pursue.

He smiles with some sense of accomplishment? the light of the Epsilon-Delta star shines into the deck, creating a relaxing ambiance. This was home.
