Storming The Station
« on: February 28, 2011, 07:27:25 PM »
The Anrufe Magiship arrived nearby Mexta, dropping out of FTL. The titan was massively larger than the space station itself. It was full of crewmen working to maintain the titan. The Anrufe were here to take the space station. They had come prepared, having heard of the station from records on the planet known as Shuma.

Railguns began to fire upon the station.

However the station was gone. As if nothing was there. Which was true as Mexta at detection of the FTl had withdrew to somewhere else.

Detecting recent travel on the part of the station, the titan easily traced it to its new location and resumed its attack.

However the titan could not get to the location of Mexta. Not unless it bypassed 16 white holes, 30 black holes, 50 seal walls and a wall of portals. In addition to that, the station had been concealed inside of a pocket dimension where a Narrikian sat having made himself a god inside of the pocket dimension. Meaning he could control anything that came in or went out. And since he did not want the Anrufe in there? Well...they wouldn't get in there was more to the point.

Mages aboard the titan traced Mexta to its pocket dimensions as soon as the traps were deployed. A portal opened into the pocket dimension and railguns started firing into the pocket dimension.

But the moment the rail gun fire was shot, the fire redirected itself to the titan. And added to it was a charge of d mist missiles as well having been conjured from the materials of the pocket dimension itself. And to make things even harder to get inside the pocket dimension well the Narrikian cut his palm and let 3 drops of his blood fall into the soil of the pocket dimension. Blood red crystals rose around that would absorb any magic besides his own and convert it into more power for his spells. After that he healed his palm and waited for their next move, as they could not even move on the station.

The redirection was re-redirected. The D-Mists were shot down by plasma beams. The spell casted inside the pocket dimension was something the Anrufe could use. They sent in a spell to draw power. When the crystals tried to absorb the spell, it absorbed the crystals' power first and tapped itself into the pocket dimension. The Anrufe had hijacked control of the pocket dimension.

With that done, railguns once more were deployed at Mexta.

Barriers rose around Mexta. No, this station would not be allowed to be taken. Instead it would be scuttled from the inside and so thirty thousand nuclear warheads on board were primed to detonate in five seconds, and everyone on board after applying an AT, AP and AGTWV along with AST property to the warheads simply teleported off of the station and the Narrikian teleported out. An explosion was about to occur that would kill the titan most likely and all the ones on board it. Mexta had essentially become a time bomb.

But the nukes were absorbed by the pocket dimension before they could explode. It only served to power the pocket dimension. The barriers were soon absorbed also. The pocket dimension then faded as Mexta appeared in normal space once more. The Magiship began to move in on it, easily taking it now with nobody onboard.

But they could see a count down for a CI had been left in the station. A Ci that liked explosions it turned out, and had orders to scuttle the station if the nukes failed. So the power generators on the station began to overload, go critical and would explode.

As soon as the Ci was detected, the Anrufe mages aboard immediately casted some spells to redirect power from the generators to other systems as to stop the explosion.

But the CI teamed up with over CIs, and redirected all the power from the other systems to the generators which would cause an overload, and thus cause the station and everyone on it as well to go boom. Also all the anti fields including the anti gateway teleportation vortex field were now turned on. All of them included AJD and AHS as well so the Anrufe would not be making a get away from the death trap they had gotten themselves into.

The Magiship's  AAM field appeared. Mages simply shut down power engines so power could not be redirected to them.

With the engines turned off, the power was all redirected to a part of the station that had not been used in some time that contained a crystal that would suck the entire place into a quantum singularity. Not just that, but when a single bit of energy hit the crystal it would activate. And it was hooked up to wires. Plus the CI activated even more of the heavily concealed hundreds of nukes, setting their detonation to 1 second this time. It was obvious the Anrufe would not be allowed to own this station.

With these new spells redirected, the power of the nukes were quickly absorbed by mages. They used this power to cast an Energy Displacement barrier around the crystal to prevent the power from being transfered. Computer systems of Mexta were shut down externally. Following the shutdown, G-Bombs, Gamma Radiation bombs, were released upon the station to shut down any tech such as the CI's while leaving the station unharmed.

THe CIs transmitted themselves away before the shut down or gamma bomb.

The Anrufe took the station.
