Since the Zarethians had never bothered to set up any structures or military presence on the world of Temar, the planet was detected by a Narrikian probe that had been loosed in the galaxy. The probe landed and sent a transmission out to one of the palm class ships.  A single Palm arrived flanked by all 5 Excaliburs as troops began to be beamed down to the planet to secure it.

But this was not true. A Battlegroup of the 4th fleet was present. The Zarethian fleet fired upon the attackers...

The blasts made by the 4th battle group would never hit the Narrikian ships in the area and the reason for that, was that they had aralang shields. The enemy firepower was thus blocked from doing any damage to the ships.  In other words they were making fools of themselves by opening fire at these 6 ships.

A single transmission was sent out.
Why are you firing on us for investigating an uninhabited world?
