"...Um...Huh? Well...We found this dimension randomly when our scientists, trying to make a new form of teleportation, accidentally created something capable of ripping through the fabric of space to get through dimensions...Yeah, we're puzzled by that one too..." He said, brushing himself off and noting the dents in his armoring. "And...Er...All civilian, and most military, Mechera models have a single optical core. It works for us, anyways. But yes, I suppose we are kin, in a sense, both beings of metal and artifact."
As the captain docked into the casino, several people noticed he wasn't machine, and wasn't Narrikan. Non-Mechera-Citizens were less frequent visitors, considering the place was located in the Mechera capital in this dimension, but in the spirit of making money, the owner decided to allow non-Mechera citizens to play and stay at the hotel, which is why it was popular with diplomats. Still, it was a little unusual, which was why he was noticed.
The casino was also one of the few places in this dimension(of the Mechera Empire) to employ biologicals from their home dimension...Most places dont, considering just how they're made 'complacent'(they still had free will and thought, but not much...), but with so few non-citizen visitors, the manager thought, 'Eh, why not? They're cheap, anyway...' This explained the sort of glazed look in the eyes of a drinks server who saw him and offered him a drink. She was of one of the first species pacified by the Mechera, a fairly cute creature with light blue skin, green irises, black sclera, and spines instead of hair on her head. The only reason they even had a drinks server was because of Narrikan guests, but she didn't seem to mind the lack of much to do. A Mechera who worked at the casino saw the Zarethian, and said,"Ah, yes, you must be the captain. Please follow me, a diplomat is waiting with another captain, this one of what seems to be a empire comprised of rather large machines."
