Nightmare, having seen that the fun was over, slithered out through a window and onto the ground where he took on is human form of Jess and stuck his thumb out in an attempt to get a ride to the nearest town with a galactic bus station. He had found out many things from the few Zarethians he had eaten, something about a species called the 'Lorcar' and a planet, by the name of Maltruse.
