Defensive Protocols

Now Ken had no choice but to do what he should have done a day ago. He had not slept for the entire day, or most of the current one. Going over to a button in the Armory he pushed something and the entire Armory uncloaked above the city.  Once he got the personal message he paled somewhat but knew that this task must be done. Calling up Thel he cancelled his resignation,  effective immediately.  It seemed now more than ever an SF would be needed. So he sent a message to Zane to call up Thel and accept his offer, effective immediately.  Walking to his weapons vault in the armory Ken put his hand on the DNA scanner and had his eye look into the retinal scanner. Once that was done he walked inside and pushed a button. "CI Cosmos,  suit me up."

Heavy metal arms came out of the walls with pieces of an artillery grade armor made to fit Ken, and began to put the armor on him. Ken was right in this instance, as the people needed a new symbol of hope and what better symbol than their emperor?  He would find whoever was sending these messages and put them out of his misery. The Jet boots were also added to the armor as were the solar lasers, in short it was an artillery grade armor.  Add to that the fact he was wearing a second skin v2 and that this ran off of blue core energy he had some quite formidable armor. Now he sent a call through his armor to Thel Valdemee.

"Sir, I regret to inform you that I have been forced to enact defensive civillian protocol iron and steel in order to stop this chaos and madness. We may not be in contact for a while because I will be on duty trying to clean up this mess from the planet itself." With that he ended the call and ordered Xavier and Harrisia to man the guns of the armory, which had been converted into Magi-Tech instead of something normal.


Xavier went to the gun control area and put his hands in the gauntlets that allowed control of the place and put on the special helmet. Heh, the Anrufe would be hard pressed to defeat such measures as he was about to unleash. "Alright, let's do this."

Opening a portal as he flew, Ken arrived in the first battallion. Meanwhile Xavier had implanted a listening device into the armor so that he also could catch this briefing. At the same time, IDST units were launched from the Armory to do crowd control on the ground below. In short they would keep the crowds from teleporting, and or heading to ships or using portals. And they would try to calm the people down somewhat.

They, of course, checked him and removed the listening device along with his armour before he was let in.

The Armor and the listening device vanished, as Xavier had did a summoning on them that would bring them to the Armory. Now the drones were restoring order somewhat, and slowing down the madness down below but not working fast enough. Xavier determined that he would have to send the troops down, the members of the military that sympathized with the black guard and their plight and there would be quite a lot of those in the armory.
