 Anti Craving Serum
A serum made from the blood of a victim of the vampirism virus. What the serum does is inhibit the cravings that the vampires would normally feel, but still allows them to survive, but without the need to feed on other people. How it does so is by correcting the hormonal and chemical imbalance in the body and the brain thus eliminating the cravings. As a side note, it also sterilizes the vampires.

After researching the virus that causes vampirism pharmacy companies have developed an alternative to always feasting on blood, a pill of sorts. For 24 hours the body produces blood naturally after taking this pill in large enough amounts for even a vampire to survive. The downside is that it increases vulnerability to UV radiation.

This tech is extremely redundant... there's no market for it for starters, a lot of vampires like to feed (or atleast mine does). Vampires also aren't going to make it public knowledge that they are vamps.

As I said, their body does produce it naturally, but due to the mutations the virus caused, it lacks the capability to produce ENOUGH blood without them feeding(and no, a pill wont fix that; it takes the two days for these mutations to complete, to fix it would cause more, likely painful and horrible mutations to their already mangled genetic code). And vampires already burn in sunlight, so the weakness is kinda redundant...What, are they gonna burn in moonlight too now?
And while it might be public knowledge that they exist, its not public knowledge as to who IS a vampire.

You can't just create a market for a product Hawkeye. There will be a market for a product only when people want that product. And as I said, it defeats the point of being a vampire. Not only that, but the points already touched upon in this thread do provide a valid argument.

Besides, what's so bad about a vampire having to feed to live? It's no different than us humans eating other living things to keep ourselves alive.
