No, we did not get shut down by Gaser's mother. (Although there is more to say on that matter below.)
LG our former host contacted on April 1st saying the site would lose its hosting as he no longer owned Dream Portal anymore. He said we had a day to backup our site. I'm sorry to say I took this as an April Fools joke and basically said "I'm not buying it," and didn't believe him. Though I took a backup anyways.
After April Fools day he gave some more information and gave proof of what he said but then said we might be able to stay the year, he didn't know. Just be ready. ... Apparently LG got the server free when he owned Dream Portal, but then he was no longer owner and would have had to pay which he didn't. That's what I understood, anyways.
Well I wasn't expecting it last night when I should have backed up every night, and you saw what happened. Luckily I was able to talk to the host he hosted us on and get our data. But we had no host.
Now we're on danp from the IRCs host. I have a feeling we're going to stay on this one and Nisorin and I will probably split the bill when it comes up. But for now, do not be alarmed. We are not shut down. We are still going strong. Even with the situation around Gaser and his family.
Now about that... Gaser has informed us in risk that he heard SP might be shut down for Slander.
Do NOT be alarmed. We will not go down. We have not cyberbullied, we have not slandered, and we have said nothing but the truth. They cannot shut us down, and they WILL not shut us down. But just know that his family is still monitoring us. For the cops... Well, at this point we can't be sure.
