What's the difference between the two?

Celestial magic in general is the invocation of the divine power, mainly used through bargains, pleas, and favors. In it's most lowly form it can be passed off as divine miracles, in it's greatest form it resembles God's wrath.

Infernal magic is the evocation of demonic power, unlike Celestial which is gained through sacrifice of your own power or well-being. Infernal is powered through the sacrifice of others. While you could perform God's wrath with Celestial, you could theoretically raise hell with Infernal.

Both are having influence over two sides of the divine spectrum, angels, demons, Lucifer, Destruction, and Creation CAN be influenced by this magic. As it's the manipulation of their very essence, given that enough has been sacrificed of course.

Celestial spells
Curse of Babel - This celestial curse is en exact copy of the power used to curse the builders of the Tower of Babel, it strikes down any structure within a set radius, despite the structures inherent stability. Any shelter not created by nature is destroyed in an instant, by a great bright light. This light also has an effect on actual people. It firstly renders them completely blind, unable to see. It also leaves them unable to communicate in any way, shape, or form. Any words they write are gibberish, any words they speak are gibberish, they think in their language, but it comes out wrong.


Infernal spells
Devouring swarm - By using a small amount of their own energy to create a swarm of thousands of life-gathering locusts the user stockpiles energy to use for later spells, the locusts gather you energy by stinging you with their stinger. This is engraved with a sigil that creates a spirit link, the locusts then sacrifice their own energy for the user's spells, the spirit link drags the stung victim with the locust's spirit.


Androgynous spells
Leviathan - This summoning spells invokes the form of the Leviathan, the greatest beast created by God to ever lurk in the deep. Covered in fire-immune scales, able to perform great feats of magic, breathe nearly any form of flame. Although to fully summon it the user would be very drained, to semi-summon or fusion summon. Use both Celestial and Infernal magic to summon it, it can be achieved without draining the user. Has three different forms, depending on the magic used to summon it. A celestial, infernal, and fusion form.
