The IRC and You
1. This post!
2. Rules3. Server Info and Webchat Link4. Connecting with PidginSo SP, it has come to my attention that you guys have no idea where the hell the chat is. Or to be technical, IRC. Make no mistake, we have one, but it's a little out of the way.
I, Zai, shall guide you to it!

Ah, the board index. It's so nice. ... And boring. Why do you guys stare at it all day anyways? Don't tell me you don't, because I have proof a lot of people like to do it right here:
http://shatteredplanes.com/forum/index.php?PHPSESSID=c14eoilf318erv4i58c1cd0gk7&topic=3778.0But that's beside the point. I'm supposed to lead you to the chat. Now if you'll look at the bar with all the text on it... it says 'home, help, search...' Yeah, that bar. Look at it.
I'm having trouble finding it myself actually. It's more hidden than a-

Oh, there it is.
Anyways, click on it, and you'll be whisked away to...
This lovely screen here. It'll ask a username from you first, but other than that, you're free to chat.
Now that you about the chat and where it is, I'll teach you about a few of the commands. I fail at using IRC, so it'll be a learning experience for both of us.
/me [message]
You know what this does.
/away [message]
This command marks you as 'away.' Useful if you're afk and if anyone tries to directly message you, they get a nice little message saying "[person] is away: [message]"
To take off your away status, just type /away with no message.
/invite [person] [channel]
Brings a fellow user not on the same IRC channel they're not on onto it. Or at least it'll invite them to it.
/join #shatteredplanes
Want to join a channel? Type this in and it'll get you in it.
/list
This lists all the channels in the status window.
/nick [name]
This changes your username. Spaces, periods, and I think some other characters are not allowed
/quit [message]
Quits the channel you're on and disconnects. It'll display the message to everyone when you do quit.
