Empire Name: The UPA-United Pirate Alliance.
Primary Race:No primary species, they'll accept renegades and turncoats from any empirical military.
Empire Description: The United Pirate Alliance was formed by the merging of a number of rival pirate gangs, in a rather desperate attempt to rival the major empirical powers and keep themselves alive and operating. They'd in truth never really been on good terms before this, and collaborate together mostly out of necessity. Its known that many of the Pirate Lords who make up the central council openly despise each other.
Anything Else: Since I never planned on owning this alone, Im gonna give everyone who wants a part the chance to make one of the six-nine(depending on how many people wanna be a part of it) Pirate Lords(basically the heads of the individual Pirate gangs who make up the alliance. None really have more sway than the others). If you'd like to make a Pirate Lord, just post in this topic their name, the name of their Pirate Gang, and a brief, very brief, explanation of things about them. Depth'll only be needed about them for the character application, assuming it gets to that(and is approved...).
Territories: They have stations built onto-and into-a few large asteroid(about the same general size as a few of Jupiter's larger moons) asteroid field located in the Insanus Galaxy, called the Talar Asteroid Belt.

Talar Belt:
A asteroid belt that lies around a widely-unknown star in the Insanus system. Because it isn't on major starmaps, its the location of the United Pirate Alliance's headquarters.

I know I dont have any planet tokens left, but I dont plan on being the highest ranking Pirate Lord of this 'empire'. In any case, the base is a necessity for this empire, and so if the asteroid-belt-thingy isn't approved because I dont have a planet token, then the entire thing's pretty much for naught(unless an applicant for one of the Pirate Lords wants to donate?)

Hmm. They could have their base near or around Citadel. And Will would be a pirate lord.

1.Hiro Dark: Jarrek Fenrir, Kalek Cutthroats, The Kalek Cutthroats are a pirate band that mostly holds power generally in the Kalek galaxy. Known for their combination of generally heavier-ordinance and high-power engines on their black-market ships, giving them the ability to dart around and manage damaging hits, though they cant usually take a well-landed attack themselves.
2.Zai: Synthe, Ghost Strings, Very moral 'pirate' group, intent on using Privateer-tactics to bleed empires dry of military resources in a attempt at forcing peace through the empire's lack of resources.
3.Zak: Adel ver Covic, Ravens(guessing thats their name), stealthy pre-Zarethian military operatives. Use high-powered weaponry and stealth systems in order to carry out their operations.
4.L_Rage: Lucien Rychart, Zealot Syndicate, Pirate faction made up of military deserters and the like. Tend toward neutrality in affairs concerning the UPA, but still loyal.
5.Hawk:Will Atlas, Galaxy Blasters, Ordinance-Heavy with strong thrusters. Among the newer gangs, and thus comparitively low-rank among the others, though 'officially' all gangs are equals.
6.Hikaru:Aislin Alzar and Erath Kitty; The Remnant of Zion: A fairly new pirate guild, The Remnant of Zion is made up of the remaining now space fairing race of Grphyons. Led by Aislin Alzar but with her co-captain Erath as the voice of the leader, the Remnant of Zion relies on their magic and any technological means at their disposal to defeat the enemy and steal everything from their target. Thought at first appearing to be nothing but the usual thieving type of pirates. Aislin makes sure the guild still has some form of morals and takes notes on everything that is stolen and from whom so that one day when her their flock has prospered they may pay it back. It was under that condition The Remnant of Zion Guild was formed.
Though when Aislin's not around to lead it, Erath likes to take control and then morals are thrown out the window. So it can be a mixture of both.

2. Will Atlas - Leader of the burn and shred pirates. Former operatives of the NM, except for Will they follow him since he is the son of a great leader and charismatic. They tend to posses heavy ordinance, a lot of stuff that most people would have. The ships are more advanced as they are usually stolen prototypes that are taken from various empires. He is new to being a pirate, but has taken the ranks and climbed them quite swiftly.

No, Hawk, he doesn't have a band of pirates under his command...These are gona be totally new characters most likely, unless there's anyone with a pirate gang already.

And their base is gonna be Talar, assuming its approved. They aren't gonna be anywhere where they'd be well known.

Mind if Hallelujah joins? I guess.. uh.. she can be a well of information from outside the Shattered Planes and helps with the emotional health of the crew with the whole aura reading and all that.

EDIT: Also she can provide Solstici equipment which can be used by all races and teach the crew members about Aura abilities and whatnot, making them all that much more able, even if they don't have magic.

Also, sorry Hawk, disregard my above post(as far as Will, anyways, it IS staying as Talar). Thought Will was a existing character and hadn't seen your other post, which I'll read.

Individual characters may join, even if not Lords, I suppose. Nothin' wrong with it, but they'd need to be affiliated with one gang or another.

Oh, I thought you meant having him as a crew member. He can be a Pirate Lord, since you haven't really used him, you just need to make his pirate band.

His band : The Galaxy Blasters
A band of ex military elite operatives who were retired for excess brutality. With stolen technology, specifically the latest and the greatest the BG and other empires has to offer, they carry both heavy ordinance and high powered engines for their ships. Also have order warp FTL which means most known anti fields won't affect them for some odd reason of course. They tend to be more vicious in acquiring property than most of the known bands. Halleujah could join them and teach them Aura if you wish Zai.

Synthe the Space Pirate (I'll get him to be one after his current shenanigans are over with.)

Synthe leads a rather small gang of pirates, but he is awfully selective at who he chooses. Why? Why did Synthe even become a Space Pirate in the first place? After the fall of Novier, and after he gets done being emo, he realizes that all the super powers of the entire Shattered Planes will endlessly take over each other day after day, for the next millennium provided they're still alive. Although he is but one Novierian, he intends to apply his abilities, his way of life into the pirate lifestyle, and forever steal from these superpowers.

Not for personal gain, but in hopes that someday, they will eventually have everything stolen. And they will either have to fight bare handed, or come to a universal truce. Whether this is achievable is another thing entirely, but it's mostly his reason.

Pirate Captain Adel ver Covic or "The Raven". This enigmatic and eccentric figure was once part of the Zarethian fleet, a frigate ace to be more precise. However, after several confrontations with his admiral about what they should be doing and how they should be doing it, he and his crew and several other ships from the Zarethian Fleet to pillage and plunder and to do whatever the hell they want.

They mostly use small ships packed with powerful Zarethian Pulse weapons, stolen BG tech including the new laser thing, PABLO beams and Bore weapons stolen from CastleMarks. Inc ships. However, their specialty is the stealth shield that they use.

Their base is called the Raven's Cove.

For the purposes of this, they'll need a crew(and preferably a small armada of frigates/corvettes(not approved necessarily, just as backstory) or something) already to be one of the Lords, since the alliance consists of several pre-existing pirate gangs merging together for the continued survival of their various groups. She could be affiliated with them, Nis, but she wouldn't be a Lord until she actually had a crew.
As for the DAIS fleet, L-Rage, unless Im mistaken, I'd say that since they are already affiliated with a few empires, they'd be considered at best Privateers, at worst a empirical fleet, and wouldn't be accepted.

I know you were planning on getting them to be space pirates, but do they have their own crew/gang/armada/what-have-you? If you just want to make it in here and assume they got it offscreen, I have no problems with it myself...You just need to provide the details is all.

Vice Admiral, Lucien Rychart- The Zealot Syndicate. A rather large pirate fleet that shares a great resentment towards modern civilazion adn society. They consist of mostly battle-hardened military deserters. They tend to act neutral in just about everything as well. Whiel at the same time Honoring the UPLs Alliance.
