Relorian Characters using New Template
« on: May 26, 2011, 11:15:52 PM »
I'm going to repost my existing characters using the new template, because I'm bored.
Nisorin Lertis
Age:
28
Gender:
Male.
Race:
Arcana Relorian
Place Of Birth:
Unknown planet, long since destroyed.
OCCUPATION:
Leader of the Sons of Plunder, former Emperor of Reloria, heir to the Embodiment of Love
Personality:
Nisorin can be a tricky one to read, though he is a bit of a loose cannon. His days in the Lerithay have helped him build up his walls, as well as his skill in combat. He's fast, both in movement and in action. He's the type to jump first, and think of a plan on the way down. On the battlefield he's fiery, often laughing and goading his opponents. While some call it arrogant, he admits he's trying to goad them into screwing up, as well as having some fun with the fight. Well, maybe a bit of arrogance...

Outside of battle he's relatively quiet, except where Celestie or the Sons are concerned. He's playful, kind, generally fun to be around while Celestie's near. But, once she leaves it's like his mood plummets. He's quiet, often keeping to himself when he can. He'll join a group of friends, but he's often standing slightly to the side, watching. He says it's sometimes more amusing to watch than to participate, but many don't think that's all there is to it. He is highly protective, particularly of Celestie, and he gets jealous easily.

Alliance:
Sons of Plunder, Celestie Lertis

Biography:
Born from Relorian parents, raised alone in the streets of a now destroyed planet, Nisorin quickly discovered his magical heritage, training in it heavily thereafter. At the age of five, he entered into a syndicate known as the Lerithay. His role was running small packages and messages to clients. Trained to keep out of sight, he did this by sticking to the rooftops to do his deliveries, sprinting across buildings and leaping the gaps between them. This, and his dextrous fighting style, earned him both the nickname Skydart and the ire of the local police force. By the time he turned eight, most crime syndicates on the planet had heard of him, and the police gave up on trying to catch him. Instead, rival syndicates would send trained assassins to kill him, polishing his endurance and fighting skills even more.

With the pay leftover from living expenses, he bought books detailing the ancient civilizations and discovered a note regarding Reloria. For several months afterwards, he often offered two methods of payment: money, or useful information regarding the old empire. Within half a year, he had exhausted the resources available to him, and bought a small ship and left the planet.

During his travels amongst planets similar to the one he left, he met Celestie, another agent of a similar group. Teaching her his way of getting around, he spent another three years there, before they both left to found the Sons of Plunder, eventually taking their own galaxy and restoring the ancient Relorian empire. This search led them to liberating the Starclan from its oppressors, fighting several battles with many increasingly interesting foes, and eventually leading a mass migration to a strange megalith located in between this Dimensional Plane and another, a still functioning relic of the Ancient Relorians during their prime.

During his leadership of the liberated Reloria, he and Celestie went through the initial Orias ceremony, following in the culture of some of the greatest leaders in recorded Ancient Relorian times. Since then, they have risen to the fourth stage of the Orion Companionship.

After winning his first match in the Plex Tournament, Nisorin Lertis and his wife Celestie retreated to a pocket dimension of their own creation after calming Nisorin from his near-Avenger mindset, where they performed the Sixth Orias, gaining access to each other's magical abilities, as well as becoming a great deal closer.

During his second match in the Tournament, facing against the Golden Sage Akylos, he started, and completed, his own metamorphosis, marking him as the Third. Standing the tallest of the three, he's now bearing plates on his chest, shoulders, thighs, shins and the back of his hands made from a curious combination of Curicite crystal and bone. Small plates fitting to the shape of lower 8 out of his 10-pack abs provide a decent amount of protection from blunt attacks.

 Weapons: Magic Level:
Exceptionally skilled in quick spells, Nisorin is a particularly powerful mage capable of standing toe to toe with entire battalions on his own. 5.5 at best, though his usage of the spells can often bring effects higher than that. In Caorrn, he's known as a Spellslinger, He'll often cast numerous spells in succession, combining their effects after casting to snowball the power.

Fears:
  • Celestie
  • The Avenger
  • Asura
  • Fatet
At least three fears required.

  • Celestie

  • Heaven and Hell

ORIENTATION:
Straight
RELATIONSHIP/MARITIAL STATUS:
Married to Celestie Lertis, Orion stage 6.
OTHER:
Now standing well over ten feet tall, Nisorin is the tallest of the three Relorians who've gone through with their metamorphosis. His skin, once slightly pale, is now a silvery blue, devoid of the scales typical to the metamorphosed Relorians. Tattoos, formed through bits from the crystalline sphere he was encased in, stretch over his right eye and chest.

He has a small abnormality on his right arm. Just behind his wrist, a strange bone perpendicular to the rest of his forearm sticks out from either side, almost like a tiny shield.

Seeing the world through a child's eyes is truly a unique experience. It helps you to retrieve that sense of awe, magic and wonder that you lost as you lost your innocence. Tell me, when was the last time that you thought of those childhood dreams? You know, the ones that you used to spend all your time wondering and fantasizing about? Have you forgotten them so easily? Have you forgotten what it felt like to see something for the first time, to see the magic in the mundane? Everyone says you should take the time to 'Stop and smell the roses'. But you should also take the time to look for the fairies, embrace the wind and enjoy the rain. Just once today, stop for a moment and look into that little piece of nature you pass everyday. Perhaps you may see something you did not notice before.
