A lone man traversed a lonely road on the planet Ocean Island as he walked through the planet now that he owned the place. Things were changing in the galaxy, and Carl realized that he could no longer go it alone without help if he were to survive. No he would need to form his own team, like his father had in the days of old. But who could he recruit for such a team to keep him safe while he finished his projects and created the being that would serve as his apprentice? Like his father he was skilled in technology and so he entered the lab where the V1 Protocore Armor 'Dragon' was stored at the moment in time. Surveying the burnt cables and broken restraints he noticed the project was yet another failure as at the moment no one was able to bond with the system.Well he would have to do something about that in the long run.
So as he walked he decided he would later leave this planet for a bit of a breather from the creation he was working on, the ultimate of the genetic experiments but this one would be different from the standard ones that existed. Rather than be like the ones created for war purposes this one would be given individuality when he was finished with it. Of course giving it a lot of power might not prove to his advantage in the long run but he needed to find a wearer for his V1 Protocore Armor Dragon so that he could use it in the situation that demanded it. Clad in a black tunic and pants to mourn the loss of his parents Carl checked to make sure he had the mark with him, the mark that had been given to him by an anonymous source and had gotten him free of Mechera charges.
Going over to the console Carl plugged in the PDA that he had obtained, one of the more advanced ones out there and logged into the systems that he himself had created to monitor the armor and keep it safe from any attempts to steal it. Walking over to one of the scientists, a new one that had just graduated from the academy on Citadel he said to him. "You aren?t the one who originally made the genetic experiments and yet I have a project for you. You shall create a new fully individualized genetic experiment using my lab. Try to make him or her so that the armor can bond with the person and be usable as I cannot fit in it. Nor do I feel like modifying my DNA to work with the armor, so this will be your job." He said to the scientist before walking towards his shuttle.
Entering his shuttle Carl would attempt to choose a good area for what he called vacation as he needed a break and would go alone. Interpol would be none the wiser as they likely would not look for such a nondescript craft for him to be on at the moment in time. Pleased that Interpol would not be able to track his ship after putting 100s of different wards of protection against such a thing and adding some technology to prevent tracking Carl Dolos smiled for the first time he had in a long time. Things were finally looking up, at least for now. Now all that remained to improve his life was to get rid of the galactic Interpol, get a job and raise a family.
But now he would have to do something to protect his armor from the hands of Interpol as the armor was not even finished yet. He had much more work to do on the thing before it would even be considered finished by him or close to done. So he held out his hand, a misty blue light forming around his palm and shrouding the area. The area would be cloaked except to him and his workers from then on, and un-enterable by anyone with any loyalties to Interpol. His way of protecting the place and so he pushed the on button that his glove had, turning on the AAM field. Just so they couldn?t use an AM field and then he crafted a mechanism to shield the AAM field from EMP bursts.
Still even with all the protection that he had set up on this place one could never be too careful and so he activated the technology that he had raided from the BG headquarters that had once belonged to Victor Price, a genetic experimentation that had died thanks to the failsafe in all genetic experiments and a few carefully worded statements.
However if he was to protect this place Carl realized as did his book that something further would be needed than just himself to guard it from intrusions or harm and so a symbol appeared on the place, that of the ancient Narrikian civilization to mark it with an enchantment so only he or one loyal to him could get into this place. And with that Carl prepared his shuttle as his book had advised. He was leaving the planet to go somewhere safer from Interpol where their treaty did not apply, a planet he had heard of from Zane, that of Elmora.
To go there and seek political asylum was his goal at the moment in time so that he would be free from these idiots of Interpol, free to make his own choices in life and not be bound by their restrictions at the moment in time. How he hated that Gregory had chosen to back Interpol, but he realized there was nothing he could do about it at the moment in time. Well at least for now anyway until he improved his skills at combat and magic that is. Typing rapidly upon his keyboard, the click clack of the keys annoying him as he typed in the code Carl prepared himself for the journey he was about to undertake.
Closing his eyes he put his hand on the lever that would take him to the planet with a simple pull of it and said to the scientists. ?I am leaving. Command code 22b222138104891832992, override Dolos Millenium. Priority 1 is security of this place.? He said and the Magi-Androids and other reprogrammed things that had used to be made by the BG activated.
