Learn about the Solstici~ [DONE]

The Solstici have been coming and going throughout the entire plane of existence ever since their beginning. To different dimensions, universes, realities... They've explored so much, and yet they aren't even anywhere close to done! Existence is both infinite and vast beyond what we could possibly imagine!

So why do the Solstici want to explore it all? Why is it so important to them that they find everything they possibly can? Is it out of scholarly instinct? Do they have nothing else better to do? Why bother in the first place? They will all die eventually.

In this topic, I will be typing a LOT about the Solstici backstory. This includes their history (Their beginning, what happened before they wanted to explore everything, and what they do now.), lore (Interesting things to know about them and legends among them.), the 'usual' mindset of a Solstici (I say usual because not all Solstici share the same mindset. But they at least have one or two characteristics that can be compared to it.), their methods of travelling to other places, how much they've explored versus how much out there that can be explored, and a bit of their society today.

Why didn't I post this in the grimoire? The Solstici aren't magic or magical objects. Of course this documents information about them, but the grimoire is no place for information like this.

Let's start with their history.



The beginning of the Solstici is unknown. There are many legends as to how their grand race began, but in almost all of them, there is one core similarity that unites all of these legends. Whether the process of the creation of the plane of existence is true or not in many of these legends or how matter first came into being is irrelevant, for every Solstici that has ever written about their beginning had, through some invisible force, all realized the exact same thing about their creation and their creation alone. This isn't because it's an 'accepted' theory among all Solstici or an idea that became popular by word of mouth.

This idea manifested from not their mind or knowledge, or their soul or spirit, or anything like that. The simple thought of this came from their individual ties to the plane of existence, the very same plane that anything and everything that exists, exists there. This unending plane that they first realized the idea of their creation from, the very same plane that many explore for an almost uncountable amount of years of their lives, is the very same plane that everyone else exists on.
What was the idea? what was this core realization that every Solstici realizes when they "theorize" about the creation of everything?
They were born of the ether, spirit, aura, and soul of all that existed around them. They came from the very stars, the moons, and other planets and worlds that existed all around them. They weren't created at these locations, but in their beginning, they were made in large numbers, as if the reality they existed in simply willed them into being. There was a certain day this happened. When other life forms looked up into the sky to witness all this that would happen, they would see millions of small, white strings stretching across their night sky, as the blackness around these long threads gave way and seemed to wrap around these threads. And for an entire five days after that, more threads would appear across their night sky, doing the same thing. But on the final, sixth day, they all began to wind themselves into one, large ball of both these white, shining threads and the blackness of the space that surrounded them into one massive ball.

And every thread that gathered to that ball gave off something special: magic. Each of these threads held a soul inside of them. All these souls combined into one central one, and spread across their entire reality, named Liiksu. This ball of countless strings then fell to a planet, very much like Earth.

The idea continues on to saying that each of these threads unraveled and planted themselves into this planet. On the next day, these threads appeared back on the surface again. Why did they burrow? They were absorbing the spirit and ether of the planet, as well as the planet's very tie to existence. When these threads came back to the surface with all these things absorbed into them, they began to shift their shape into their familiar shape as wolves.

These wolves were born all around the planet, in both night and day time. The wolves that came into being on the dark side of the planet (Night time) turned into the 'Moon Solstici,' as the ones that were born on the lit side (Day time) became 'Sun Solstici.' Aside from their appearance, and the rule that governed how much spirit energy they would gain from certain celestial bodies, they were all the same.
And like many newborns, these Solstici knew nothing. Although it was unlikely they would die of old age or anything like that, it took them a great many years (around a few thousand or so.) before they began to get the idea of how to communicate, or other simple things that came to humans very easily, if not primitively.
But before long, once they began to figure out how to communicate, they began to establish themselves as individual beings with thoughts, feelings, emotions... They realized things about others too. They realized the differences between each and every one of them, and how they all weren't the same on the outside.

In typical fashion, like many races out there before them, they fought over these differences. But this was the time before they could use things like aura, and even before they knew how to reproduce! They didn't reproduce like other life forms that existed on that planet. They were different, they were made of energies and forces that completely separated them from other life forms.
So when the Solstici fought back then, they fought with both teeth and claw. Eventually, these Solstici teamed up to two different factions.

Ironically, these factions were divided by their color. The Sun Solstici and the Moon Solstici. And then, the meaning of 'war' was finally known to them. They might not have had the word, but the feeling of it was there. The fact that one would know they would die as they stared down the countless legions of their enemy... the sadness of when a species fights against one another, their own brethren killing each other.
Then, there were two Solstici, one from each side, that set aside their differences. A Male and a Female Solstici. They had a certain 'attraction' to one another, a tie that, no matter what feeling tried to overpower it, it would lose in the end.
It was love. When they were seen together, a vibrant 'pinkish' aura emanated from them. It was so big, their pink aura seemed to exist all around them. But to other Solstici and themselves, they would only witness a subtle glow. These two were so close, and completed each other so well, their tie could not be understood. And then, they came upon a certain realization: These two loved each other so much, that through this tie between them alone, they were able to do something no other Solstici had done before.
They combined each other's spirit and Ether through this bond. And then, a new Solstici was born. The first born Solstici. This single Solstici was of neither color of the moon or sun Solstici.

It was pure white. Yet, the plethora of other colors seemed to emanate from it as well. This was his aura that many were seeing. This Solstici's aura was so intense, and reaching so far beyond all that any Solstici could see, yet looking at him with the naked eye would only see these myriad of colors emanating from him as thick as a inch at the most. But there was a certain miracle that happened when this Solstici was born.


Every Solstici stopped fighting. The very aura that came from this one Solstici reached as far as the entire planet, almost engulfing it completely. And through this aura, many Solstici began to see it around them as well. How couldn't they? It was all around them, everywhere, an aura that existed between anything and everything that was there on that planet. And through continuous exposure to it, every Solstici became aware of it, beginning to see it. Their eyes started to see things they normally shouldn't have been able to see. And with being able to see this one Solstici's aura, they began to be able to see other auras from other Solstici as well.

The Aura that every Solstici gave off, except that one Solstici, was pure black. Yet, in the colors that emanated from the one Solstici, there was no black, no grays, and no browns. Instinctively, they started to realize they were living the wrong way. They should not fight and kill each other because of simple differences, because it was one of the seeds that generated the black aura.
And through this black aura, they had become evil. But they did not want this. When they realized they became something they didn't want to be, they started to heal themselves with the mindset they had towards this.
A planet-wide healing of both spirit and mind began, and as each of them began to dissipate this black aura, so did others as well. One could describe it as a pure, thorough, cleansing of all these hurtful, bad, and evil thoughts between each other.

Soon, every Solstici had no black in them anymore. They still had their differences, and were sometimes annoyed by them. But through their auras, they understood one another even better. And with that, they began to form bonds of love between each other as well. And from then on, the pure, white Solstici was further regarded as the Saviour of their entire race. It was that one Solstici that brought them all together through his aura. But the real thanks belonged to it's parents, whom set aside their differences and anything that could possibly make them hate each other to love to bring that Solstici into reality. And they did that without needing to understand one another, without the help of the aura or anything.



The Solstici lived in peace for many years to come. But that first born Solstici, after a few years of being born, disappeared from their world, their reality. And no one knew why.
As the race continued to live, and communicate, they dawned upon a sudden thought, a single idea. What existed... beyond their planet?

For years, that question plagued them. It was something they could not shake. An overwhelming desire to know, to discover. And with this sudden knowledge, they began to question many other things, to find out other facts about their world, and the reality that they lived in.





That's it for their beginning. Next time, we'll be looking into more of their history. The next part will cover exactly how they got into space, how they began to be able to control their auras, and ultimately found out about their spirit.

An achievement only made by the most technological races: The ability to go into space. Many magic users don't need to bother with this, as they can just teleport or make portals to the place they want to be.


But the thought to go into space, to see beyond their planet... this was something the Solstici began to desire. By all means, it should have been impossible for them. They didn't have anything like technology, so the very fact that many of them had wanted to go beyond everything they saw was a problem that vexxed them for many years to come.
And along with wanting to discover what was beyond their planet, the realization that they knew almost nothing about the world around them. Sure they knew how to navigate it and what it looked like, but the things that started to plague their minds were questions that only races with certain technologies could answer.

What is everything made up of?
What are those dots in the sky?
Why does it rain?
How do plants grow?
How did this planet come into being?

These were only a few of the questions they began to ask themselves. To you or me, these questions are very easy to answer, or at the very least we have some sort of theory. But the Solstici had no way to find out, and these were also questions that began to plague them as well. They were stuck with this overwhelming curiosity for many years after that, unable to do anything about it at all.
And to be perfectly honest, there was no way they could.

But, they never really gave up. They kept working toward it, though it would be impossible for them. For now. Before this issue was resolved, another very important discovery had to be made by the Solstici before they could possibly work toward going into space.

There were a certain group of Solstici, who weren't really interested in going in outer space, or at least gave up after finding out they couldn't do anything about it. Rather, this group turned towards within themselves to expand their current way of thinking, and tried to look at things in a completely new way. Things such as rather than trying to figure out how the hell everything worked, they would at the very least guess, and build up from there. And if it turned out to be false, then the core of the entire idea would be trashed and they would start anew.

In our society, we would refer to these people as scientists. This group of Solstici were the races very first scientists ever. They gave a lot of their ideas to other Solstici, and the race slowly became less and less anxious to find out things about their world. They had some basic foundations thanks to these 'scientists,' and if any of them had a different idea to contribute, they would.
But there was one discovery made by one of these scientists that forever changed the history of the race. The discovery of their Spirit Energy. No one knows exactly where he had gained the knowledge, or how.

This Solstici was named Taaem (A cookie to you if you recognize this name.). What was completely different, was that this Solstici had Black fur. And before the group of scientists were formed, he was never seen anywhere. Nevertheless, this Solstici taught the others of his brethren about Spirit energy, and how to make use of it.

With this discovery, they eventually, over the course of a few days, found out how to insert this energy into their aura, allowing them all to manipulate the certain colors of their aura, and to be able to do many things with them. And along with this discovery, netted them the ability to fly. They were able to do this by inserting spirit energy into their aura to make it controllable and have substance. And, since they were the source of the aura they were producing, they could control themselves as well, allowing such things like levitation.

And, with the ability to fly, they gained their ability to go beyond their blue sky, to places unknown. The Solstici had entered their age of space travel.

This'll be a short post. I'm tired and there's not much to go over here.

Solstici began their traveling in space as soon as they began to fly, no questions asked. By flying at any speed they wanted through levitation, they could get to one end from their universe to the other in a few days time. But how did they breath? The Green and yellow auras are the main auras at work here, as either one can function as air (yellow aura takes the properties of Air, Green has properties of life itself.). Unlike other auras, these two seem to be able to empower the other without the use of spirit energy, so a Solstici does not need to continually use their life force while traveling through space.

But how do they go to different dimensions? Universes? Realities?

When the Solstici discovered their Spirit energy, they also discovered the feeling of their tie to the plane of existence. To travel inbetween these places, the Solstici literally unground themselves with Spirit energy, phasing out of the plane of existence (But still tied to it!). And from there, they would spend an unknown amount of time, and then phase back into existence at another point.
The time spend between realities/whatever is completely random. One Solstici can phase out of existence and phase back in at Burger King twenty years later, while another that phased out at the same location and phased back into the same Burger King would only arrive in about two minutes. It is up to the Elders of the Solstici to probably measure every Solstici's age, as many traveling Solstici can't even tell how long they've been gone or their new age once they've arrived somewhere. It's not because their stupid either: the trip inbetween their phase out and phase in is so short, it can range from a few seconds to just a few minutes, yet in reality multiple years could have passed.

So why do Solstici want to go discover everything?

The best way to answer this question: Why not? The Solstici live a lifestyle that almost everything is possible to them, and their only destiny to forge for themselves is to do whatever they want. Think, if you weren't limited by money or anything, wouldn't you want to do the same thing too? That is the basic idea of the Solstici's want to learn about everything, simply because they can and it's within their reach.

I lied. I decided to go over something more practical that would probably aid people in their use of the Solstici more than a few stories. Some of these stories need to be on the backburner a bit longer anyways.

Today, we'll be getting a more in-depth look into Auras, their relationship with magic, and why the hell don't Solstici use magic.


To start off with, I'll copy paste the Aura stuff from the Race Request, so it'll all be here for your reference rather than having to dig through the dead topic.

Their Aura is, again, linked to their emotions. How it does so is like any normal human being like you and me. Everyone that's alive expends an aura that is colored a certain way that is synonymous with how they live, their character, and even their current emotions. Depending on the color is the properties their aura will have whenever spirit energy is applied to it. However, everyone's aura is not dominated by purely one color, but almost every color with one being present more than the others. Although the auras themselves have no specific elements, certain ones take on their properties and how they feel (Some auras will feel hot, others cold, maybe some even shock you the moment they touch you even though they have nothing electrified about them at all.) The colors and how they affect the aura is listed below.


Purple: Comes about when the main thing anyone thinks about is life, spirituality, or anything related to it. The color is very rare. When it does so happen to appear, Aura tends to be intensified and very powerful as to reflect the intense thoughts of the person that does think about their very being and what can or will happen to it before and after death. However, there never really is enough of the purple aura to really use it as a weapon, and is considered a 'weak' color among Solstici. It's properties is completely unknown, as whenever it's used, anything it touches has absolutely no effect at all. However, it provides immense energy to other auras whenever it's applied to them.

Blue: Shows the person as a calm, relaxed, and balanced person, and make excellent unbiased teachers or public speakers. Emitters of this aura will find their aura takes on properties similar to ice and water. Blue is a good aura for a good defense and counterattacking due to the calm state of the user.

Turquoise: Very energized and people wanting to do various things all at once expend a lot of this aura. They have trouble focusing on one thing, as their aura takes on somewhat of lightning properties to amend this weakness (lightning tends to focus on one thing.), and to properly reflect the user's energetic personality.

Green: Peaceful, anyone possessing a green aura is often very restful and does not like conflict, but rather peace and quiet. The green aura doesn't really have any offensive properties, but rather focuses on healing wounds and purging the user of unwanted thoughts, mind control, and even foreign objects found in ones body. One might say a green aura's property is life itself, as those with a green aura find it very easy to grow plants and raise animals.

Yellow: The feeling of freedom and not owing anything to anyone along with joy and happiness. The properties of the yellow aura is linked to air, or wind to be more precise to reflect their will to spread their joy everywhere and to be felt by everyone.

Orange:  Those that expend an orange aura are uplifting and emit a feeling of sturdiness and courage. However, it can also mean the will to control people. This aura's properties is akin to metal and earth itself to reflect their stubborn emotions, as well as to reflect the idea of being able to shape earth/metal to whatever they want to fit any ideals they need it to.

Sulphur: Like a dark mustard color of sorts, the sulphur aura is prevalent in those that use anger as their weapon and is their primary emotion. It takes fire-like properties, expressing the thought of burning everything, to destroy until they are no longer angry.

Red: Often exists in materialistic people, or those that wish to own things over anything else. This aura doesn't really have any properties, and the Solstici often look down on anyone with a red aura, citing them as weak.

Pink: Pink is the combination of both Purple and Red Auras. This is the most rare aura possible, and is almost impossible to achieve. It reflects love in all things both things of our world and spiritual, or things not of our world. There is not much known about this aura among the Solstici, as it is often unseen. However, it's properties take on something similar to a warm light, and is the most powerful of all of the auras. However, despite it's rarity, it appears in people sometimes, though it doesn't remain for long.
--- Gold: The gold aura appears only with the Pink aura, and the existence of it only comes about with certain individuals. The gold aura doesn't do anything, but signifies that those that possess it wield a certain, expert-like mastery over their aura and their thoughts.

White: The weakest aura, only appearing in those that are artificially stimulated or artificially enraged (Stim packs, drugs, or mind controlled individuals.). The Aura takes no properties at all, and actually consumes other aura colors. The only other time white appears around an individual is when they are near death, as if their spirit that held the colors has left them. Although the aura itself doesn't do anything, the Solstici benefit from increased strength or physical properties in their bodies.

Brown: A unsettling individual, the color appearing upon people that don't have faith in other people or themselves, and look down upon many things. The property to this aura is similar to a cold darkness, but unlike other auras, cannot be used for anything. It tends to blot out other colors like white, thought not as fast.

Gray: Depressive, unclear and a bad personality in general is those that hold the gray aura. Like Brown, it also holds properties like a cold darkness, but once again cannot be used. Like brown and white, Gray also tends to consume the colors of other auras. The aura can only be used in battle or anything if both gray and brown auras combined to form a single, black aura.

Black: Evil individuals, the aura comes about when Brown and Gray are combined. The cold darkness properties of an aura are very powerful, rivaling that of a pink aura if not a bit weaker. However, this power often cannot be controlled correctly or efficiently at times. The black aura is more common than it needs to be, especially in people that feel they must destroy everything in sight or only wishes to do things for their own personal gains. This aura tends to reflect that although being evil or doing bad things may get you stronger faster, in the end though, it is still beaten by those that worked harder to attain the same strength with different ideals.

So as you can see, the auras of every living thing have multiple colors, typically every color aside from white, black, brown, or gray. So all this information on auras is great and all, but how does one use it?
Most simplest answer: insert spirit energy into the aura. Any amount, really. Even the smallest speck of it can 'activate' the auras to become tangible. Depending on the spirit energy inserted, however, is equal to the time that these auras are tangible. A small speck o' spirit energy is going to activate it for half a day or so, while... uh... a "handful" (Is there a way to quantify spirit energy? I dunno.) will last you a few weeks, maybe a month even.
Now, I hope you understand what I mean by spirit energy. Spirit energy as in the life force of the user, their very state of being. To make use of auras, one has to give up a piece of this life force. Although, in return, EVERYONE can use auras. Except machines/robots/technology. And with the use of Auras, anyone can also use Solstici equipment since this is an innate ability that every living thing possesses.

Luckily, Solstici are one of the few races that replenish spirit energy. Very easily, in fact. How? They only need to be near tangible, existing objects. Things like planets, suns, or moons are the best examples. In other words, this race was specifically tailored to make use of the Aura abilities without much limitation.


So how are magic and aura related? What would happen if the two clashed in battle? Would one overpower the other?
Lemme answer those all at once.
1. They aren't, unless you wanna link magic to spirit energy, and then spirit energy to aura through some way of thinking. 2. What'd you normally expect. 3. No, if both forces are equal.

Aura is generated from the living being itself, the very fact that they live is giving this energy off. One could also argue that aura comes from spirit energy itself as well, and that they are one and the same. However, with the list of the colors of the aura above, they share a lot of similarities with magic in terms of elements and whatnot.
Despite this, these auras are NOT attuned to elements, they just have their properties, and nothing more. The Blue aura does not beat the Sulphur aura because blue takes on water properties while Sulphur takes fire. They are equal to one another. The same can be said with magic vs. aura pairings, a blue aura cannot overpower actual fire created from magic, but at the same time, water created from magic cannot overpower the Sulphur aura.

This means that, Aura and Magic can be considered equal in terms of power. Magic techniques can also be replicated through aura as well, including really complicated and intricate stuff like seals or "scientific" magic with bajillions of rules. To replicate these, one only needs to keep in mind what aura colors these certain techniques give off, and apply the same tangible auras to make these techniques.

"Wait, magical techniques give off aura colors? Wat."

Certainly? When a person casts a magic technique, they're also sort of unknowingly inputting their aura into their techniques as well. Although these colors aren't really needed for a magic user, by focusing their magic into these techniques, they channel that aura too. Some auras bounce back to the caster, while others are happily absorbed into the magic. These absorbed colors then tend to make up the magic itself, or at least the make-up of the needed aura colors.
Although it's doubtful, these colors could also play a role in how magic is casted too: A person that is angry all the time (Sulphur Aura) will find it much easier to cast fire magic since Sulphur has fire properties. In contrast, the same person would have trouble (or at least it won't be as easy) casting water magic because they lack the calming aura, Blue. A mage with mastery of both Auras AND Magic will find their abilities increased significantly, but nothing to write home about: just improves how stuff is casted and how easier it becomes. It may even take a toll off of some stuff cast: a mage that summoned a buncha tornadoes with no aura experience may get tired before the same mage with same magical experience, the only difference being that the second mage had some training in Auras.

How do Auras relate to AM fields?
They don't. Auras are not magic. The tangibility of an aura is created through Spirit energy, so to properly negate aura abilities, one would need Anti-Spirit energy, or something. Why?
It took Spirit energy to make the aura tangible, not magic. Negating spirit energy would negate the spirit energy used to make the aura tangible. Anti-Magic fields and whatnot do absolutely nothing.

But I'm getting ahead of myself, maybe a whole topic in Grimoire needs to be dedicated to Auras alone. but for now, let's move on.


So why auras? Why do Solstici use auras rather than delving into magic, when they know about it too?

There are two reasons.
1. Magic is TIRING. Overuse of it drains a person's energy and soul. With auras, you are NEVER tired from using them, and there is no limit to how much you can use your aura. Only thing is, you're using up spirit energy.
2. Racial reasons. It was the auras themselves that stopped the Solstici from fighting one another and propelled them to where they are now. Don't you think you'd use the same awesome power that you gained first the most over something else that you discovered second (assuming that 1. It's equal or lesser in terms of power and 2. The first power was easier to use.)?

What are the Solstici Elders? The Solstici Elders are Solstici that have lived for a very, very long time.

... which, is a common misconception to those that do not know of the Solstici.

The Solstici Elders are actually of all ages, the youngest thus far being of 5,486 years old, while the oldest has been an Elder ever since the creation of the Solstici, which was well over 90,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 years ago.
So if being an Elder is open to all ages, then one can assume it's a job that is given to certain Solstici. That assumption is correct. Being a Solstici Elder means that no matter what, the elder must not leave the reality of Liiksu, despite whatever urge of exploration they have to do so. Once they do set paw outside of Liiksu, they are no longer an Elder. This is, by all means, not looked down upon at all or even dishonorable in the slightest, for it just means that the elder in question had such an urge to go explore that it overpowered whatever they've oathed.

And whenever this does happen, the used-to-be Elder usually finds something amazing, or something the entire race hasn't seen yet, and is worthy of seeing. There is one other instance in which an Elder is permitted to travel outside of Liiksu and retain his Elder status, and that is to save another Solstici from the claws of death or to find a Solstici that has been missing for a very long time or hasn't been spotted by any Solstici Scouts for some time.

But what do the Elders actually do? The Elders have three duties:

1. Keep track of everyone's age. They don't need to keep this in mind, but some of these elders are so in tune with their aura abilities, they're able to write with their auras and store this information in Chakra bands. They don't even need to pull out the auras they wrote it on, just wearing it is enough.
2. Grant good fortune to Solstici who are setting foot outside of Liiksu to explore. This is more of a custom than anything, but it's said the last few Solstici that forgot to respect this custom have either died of horrible accidents or have suffered from very bad luck. This custom usually serves another purpose, and that is to get the current Solstici's name and age, so they can fulfill duty 1. Much more accurately.
3. Keep order, make sure other Solstici are alive and well in their travels. Elders tend to send out Scout Solstici after ones that recently depart after about a few years or so to keep track of their progress or to make sure they're doing well. The Elders certainly also understand that some Solstici want to make their long journeys alone, and will respect these wishes by telling the scouts to remain unseen, by anything and everything. To date, not a single Solstici Scout has been spotted. Ever.




Liiksu is an entire universe on the plane of existence, and is one or three dimensions away from the dimension in Shattered Planes that everyone resides in. But, it's also worth noting of it's distance away from the Shattered Planes. In the terms of existence topic, a term known as 'ungrounded' or 'ungrounding' has been added. It simply means that one removes themselves from the plane of existence (They are not there physically), but they are still tied to it like anyone else. With ungrounding, one is able to travel to any point on the Plane of Existence. Any point whatsoever.
However, the time taken to transit between the two points is completely random. A trip to the farthest corner of the plane may take a few seconds, while maybe a trip to five feet away from you may take up to tens of thousands of years.
Now, keep that in mind. Say you ungrounded yourself from Liiksu and wanted to go to the Shattered Planes. Here's the comparison of distance between the two:

With all the different methods of traveling with faster-than-light or dimensional teleporting, and even with magical teleportation... A 435,689,367,894,537,689,465,456,476,456,423,421,231 year trip through ungrounding is much more quicker to travel with than the other mentioned methods of traveling. Though ungrounding trips don't take that long, there have been one or two instances when a Solstici ungrounded themselves and have never popped up anywhere else in the plane of existence ever since they've left. Other than that though, it usually takes around ten, twenty, maybe a few hundred years usually through ungrounding.
With that in mind, it's almost impossible to reach Liiksu unless you want to spend your entire life getting there. Oh, I should also mention that one does not age during the ungrounding process.
On that note, where exactly do the Solstici live in Liiksu? The reality is, they live almost everywhere in it. There are Solstici practically flying throughout space every few seconds, and many people on the planets that aren't aware of their existence mistake them for shooting stars even. They are everywhere, and there are trillions of them. With that being said, there are also looooots of Elders to keep track of them all. But their home planet is where most of them gather whenever something big happens, or they just want a specific place to meet up with other Solstici.



So what's this about a Solstici Grand Library? The Grand Library is a built structure about the size of a galaxy, built with the combined efforts of every Solstici. The Grand Library's whole function is to let Solstici who have returned from their travels to write about them and store them in the library. This library is open for every Solstici by popular demand, and it doesn't even have to be stuff written in dictionary definition like stuff, it can be literally anything, whether a Solstici discovered it or if they came up with it in their head. There are even a few Solstici that spend their time in this library reading up on random things, and are constantly wowed by all the things these Solstici either find or make up. It's practically a bookworm's dream come true. There are even instances where a Solstici has taken a book or two out of the library and has given them to other races to inform them of something that may be within their interests or just to see what would happen.

Another exciting installment of learning about the Solstici is now here. ... not that any of you actually read these.

Solstici Scouts are the ultimate trackers known in their part of the Plane of Existence. When they are assigned to track certain Solstici, you can bet that they'll be found in a matter of days. And they will keep tracking them until they die or are given a new assignment. And when I mentioned not a single one has been found, ever, I literally meant it.

Solstici Scouts are next to impossible to find. If you were to look for them, you would fail, no matter what.

So how do they remain hidden? And how can they do their job so well? This answer is easy: they spend the majority of their time being ungrounded. The only difference is, they have no set destination, so they are forever not a part of the plane until they return to Liiksu. So if they're ungrounded for who knows how long, how do they do their job?
Before I can explain that, I have to explain something else. Solstici scouts are masters with Aura. If their aura abilities were measured in terms of magic, they would all be level sixes, but not in terms of how much destruction they can cause, but because of the sheer amount of control and the amount of aura they have. They possess every color of the auras, and if they don't, they store these colors in Chakra bands, including the long sought after Gold Aura, or the quite rare one, Black Aura.
So what?
The Solstici Scouts can keep track of their targets so well due to the fact that they insert a tiny, insignificant part of their aura into their targets. This color is usually a color the Solstici doesn't use all that much, but still have it. And since all Aura is technically the same, it is impossible to pick out a foreign person's aura from your own aura. (This can also explain some of the embodiment's effects on emotions, their respective aura is so powerful that it effects others auras as well,)

This insignificant piece of aura is all the Scout needs to keep track of their target. And from there, they can move that specific piece of aura to any part of the target's body, and to even make it completely hidden, even when they are ungrounded.
But when do the Scouts get the opportunity to do this? They do so while other Solstici are ungrounded and traveling, the scouts insert a part of their aura into the traveling Solstici during their long or short trip to other places. And one can't normally even see or sense these Solstici because they aren't in the plane of existence.


But wait, how do they do this? They aren't in the plane of existence. Again, the scouts are masters of controlling their aura, so they do this in a different way. When ungrounded, you are still tied to the plane of existence. They insert their aura through their tie to the target's tie, and then voila, they are tracked.

Heya there. Time for a legend about the 'Ultimate Solstici.'



There's a story that started originally as nothing else but a whisper, a story that, over the countless years, rose in volume to an overwhelming roar. This legend, is called the Ultimate Solstici. The legend is very, very, very long. But for the sake of convenience, it shall be shortened.
Long ago, when the white Solstici first appeared and united the Solstici race, it gave every Solstici the ability to see auras. At this time though, they had no idea of how to interact with their auras, or to even insert spirit energy into them. But, it is said that when the pure white Solstici disappeared, he did so flying. This would mean that he had control of his spirit energy at such a young age, before any other Solstici had even known how to for thousands of years.
It's also worth noting that this story first came into being when the Solstici actually discovered how to manipulate their spirit energy. ... right, I'll get to the legend.

The legend states, that, this White Solstici is known as the 'Ultimate Solstici,' and that s/he came into being not because of his or her parent's love, but because the universe had willed it to be so to stop the Solstici from fighting. And that when s/he left their homeworld, s/he did so because the universe had willed that too for a much higher purpose. This purpose is, what many Solstici believe, is to unite all of the Plane of Existence, to have everyone live in harmony, and to allow everyone to understand one another. To do so, the legend specifically states that one day, a pink aura will envelope all of the plane of existence, and this aura will be so massive that even those not trained in seeing auras will be able to see it. And along with it, being able to see other auras as well.
As one might guess, one would say the source of this aura would be the White Solstici. However, it is not true. In reality, the legend says that it will be the White Solstici's offspring that, when born, will unite everything. And through being able to see everyone's aura, everyone would be able to understand one another, to truly see why everyone is the way they are.


In truth, what this legend is suggesting that the same thing that happened to the Solstici long ago will one day apply to everyone.
