"Here you go, ma'am." The server at the restraunt's bar says, teleporting it over to her. "Anything else I can get you?"

"No thanks..", she said wearily. It'd been ages since she actually got a break. She sips her drink and relaxes.

A young man (really nearly 100) at the bar turned around, his eyes lighting up a bit as he saw the admiral. He was blond, his hair lightly growing back from the gruff military shave, his face clean shaven. His eyes were affected with a shining, augmented blue that was an after affect of mechanical implants in the irises. He was wearing a plain white T shirt and black military issue trousers.

"Is that you, Admiral?" Commodore Maxis asked from the bar.

A battered looking Aseron had entered the area, in a ripped outfit. He had been a bit injured.

"Sure." He says, picking up his La'con brew and moseying over to Aki's booth. He sat down opposite her and took a sip. "Funny seeing you here Admiral." He smiled. "Popular opinion is that you're always going at it. people'd be shocked to see you relaxing." He joked.

"Yeah... I made Fletcher go on my assignment instead.. " she notices Lustre. "Looks like someone spent some time with Hermitage." She nods to him.

Maxis resisted the temptation to look and doggedly looked her in the eyes and face. "So Admiral..." He said slightly awkward and trying to think of something to talk about.

The moment Akki took off her jacket, Lucian adverted his eyes in the moment so that he would not blush or reveal emotion. He was trying to be serious, and resist the temptation. The last thing he needed for his career was a scandal at the moment in time. Now he turned his attention towards the other one and said to him. "An interesting, but troublesome day." No scandals would be needed, and he didn't need any more media trouble.

"Right..." Maxis said, still looking Aki doggedly in the face. He was trying not to associate with the candidates much, it was normally not a great career move.

Maxis chuckled. "Yeah... I saw the bastard when he first got the transmission. You know how his face gets really red and that vein starts showing up? Yeah, he was almost puce. For a second there I thought I'd have to force feed him some relaxants!" Maxis sniggered.

"Yeah. The coalition is a bunch of morons. Luckily I know someone who could help you with your coalition problems Akki if you are interested." He pulled out Ezra's business card and handed it to Akki, before walking out to resume the campaigning that he had to do at the moment in time to spare himself trouble later on.
