Shiloh rubbed his forehead with his hand. "We have no... anti-demonic defenses. We have never faced any literal demons before. This is a very bad sodding event." He said, sinking back into his chair.

Quincent spoke up next. "Perhaps we could devise some sort of 'holy' repugnance that would repel them?" He asked hopefully.

Maxis stepped forward slightly. "With all due respect, sir. If these demons are lead by some one who can dodge a pulse blast from a capitol ship... I highly doubt some blessed water will mean much to them. Sir."

He hands them the After Action report. "We suffered heavy casualties... but we had minimal civilian deaths."

Aki stands the astonished. "We can bury your men Admiral... but we need to figure out how to counter this."

He looks at her, confused, as she walks past him. He follows her and sits next to her on the bench, albeit a bit farther than normal. "What do you think?" He asks her after two minutes of silence.

He drove her towards her estate after setting it up with his navigation system. "Those soldiers will get the respect they deserve, Aki. They always do." He reassured her. The last part was a lie but not a big one.
