Concertvitizement
« on: June 05, 2011, 08:02:27 PM »
At a concert that was popular, before it began Lustre stood there at the moment near the podium. "I have an offer for you at the moment in time. If you want a free concert with the most famous rockstars on the planet, you will listen to the speech I will give in 20 minutes after their concert ends." He says, smiling at the crowds. The Zarethian Anthem played behind him as a hologram of the Zarethian Flag appeared behind him, with the words Lustre for Senate on it.

Several hundred people turned up for the event.
There is only so much pain that can be taken before the bonds and chains of sanity are forsaken
It is in these lonesome times that we reach towards the light sublime
And from that light we pull the resolution of our time
To begin the end and start anew

After the concert.

The Zarethian Anthem began to play as several Magi-Androids dressed like soldiers, navy members and other military groups shot fireworks into the air, spelling out vote for Lustre. Drums began to beat to the hiss of a valve as a platform rose from under the stage with Lustre clad in the clothes a senator would normally wear. "I ask not what you can do for me Zarethians, but what I can do for you. And what I can offer you is safety from..." Videos of the Lorcar attacks played, and other attacks made by their enemies.

"Do you want safety and freedom from dealing with your enemies? Vote me to the Senate!" Smiling a dazzling smile Lustre held out his hand, and a sweet tasting mist formed around the entire crowd, like each of their favorite drinks so that they would enjoy it at the moment in time. Now he snapped his fingers and pizzas and other things rose out of the ground near each crowd member. "Free food for you listening. " The concert had been as promised, free of charge to the ones who had come to hear his speech.

Lots of people ate and left. Some did it for the free music. Some where genuinely interested.
