A check upon reports

A small shuttle came out of orbit around France. It was dinky and its hull paint scratched and scarred. Isaac Tanak, sage was riding in the back of it while the pilot made his decent and called into the landing pad. "This is shuttle Trial of Merit, requesting permission to land, over." The pilot said.

"Land your shuttle at docking pad K-C-321. Over," came a reply from a command terminal, instructing the shuttle to land on top of the K Center, command center for military operations in Paris.

"Thank you, Trial of Merit, out." The pilot said, shutting off the comms. "Isaac, you ready back there?" He called back as he made the descent towards the designated area.

"Yes, Cole. I am fine." The old sage replied, his eyes closed, his legs in the lotus position as he meditated. "We are almost there, correct?" He asked.

"Yeah, landing now." Cole said.

Isaac got up, allowing his black and red robes to fall down onto the floor. He was here to investigate certain reports about one of the sage three. He opened his eyes as the rear door of the shuttle opened, flooding the previously dark cargo bay with bright sunlight.

"Ah, no, thank you." Isaac says, stepping gently, but confidently down onto the metal plate. "You must forgive an old man for his slowness. Age does seem to creep up on you after a while..." He says to the receptionist, falling in tow. The sun reflected off his black and silver hair.

"It's funny that you'd choose now to visit," the man said, "We've received quite a few visits from offworld over the last few hours. Don't worry, though. We have private accommodations prepared for you."

He led the two downstairs into a large hallway, and then to a door labeled, "RECEPTION". Inside, there was an empty room lined with comfortable chairs and the like, air conditioned and cool. The diplomat led the two inside.

"Please, make yourself at home. How can I help you gentlemen today?"

"Ah, quite comfortable. Far more comfortable then when I was here last... Charlemagne, I think it was." Isaac mused as he sat down in a fluffy red chair. "Yes, yes. Charlemagne it was. Sod tried to have me burned at the stake after he saw me use magic though..."

The pilot sat down on the couch opposite them.

"Ah, yes, to the point... Sorry for rambling, being back here brings back so many memories. Say did you know that- oh, sorry. Rambling again. I am here to check out reports of a sage coming here and becoming quite prominent. If I'm not mistaken, the K Empire schtick is his work. Hmp. Could have had a better name at least." He mumbled. "A K2323 if I am right."
