...By the Five Books of the Knight Salkor-The Book of Beginnings, The Dawn of Peace, The Art of War, The Laws of Honor, and The Curse of Cataclysm. Each one was, of course written by Salkor, a person akin to Jesus of Christianity of their religion, though he was by no means a god, child of one, or anything. He simply was a Knight who'd had a vision of their God, and spread the word(of course, as their religion says anyways). This is a story for another time, however. Unlike Alkor, many officials of this government were corrupt in ways as we know them, yet they were not unfair rulars. They did use their religious presence to coerce the other Nations into bending to their own will(such as extorting wealth from them) and keep their citizenry in line, but it was done, mostly, to make sure the teachings of Salkor were abided by throughout the planet. Indeed, they were rather...Illicit, in many non-governmental activities, and regularly indulged themselves, but they acknowledged that they were such. They didn't hide it when found out. Their jobs, as the head members of the Church, was to ensure their followers remained good, remained worthy of salvation. They understood that power corruptted, and that they were mere mortals. In a twisted sense, it was a form of self-sacrifice-They took the burden of leadership, the burden of corrupttion and potential damnation, upon themselves in order for their flock to remain worthy. They were corrupt, yet preached purity all their lives, down to their dying breaths. Statistically, it was larger than Alkor, but still a medium sized nation. It did have a armed force, but it was mostly ceremonial.
Next was Landora, the Innovators. Landora was a nation of learning, ruled by a elected official. Its people were intelligent and wise, many of them scientists in the fields of electronics, medicines, and physics. It should be noted that a vast majority were still devout believers of Salkor, as was most of the planet; simply-(cont again...)
