There?s a Monroe for a life outside and inside his job. When he?s not on the job, Monroe can easily be taken for a ?better than everyone? type. Monroe carries himself with a confidence that not many men could afford if they tried, and takes pride in sensing a person?s weaknesses upon first glance. Monroe will even go as far as to exploit these weaknesses if it gives him something beneficial. Monroe enjoys interaction with people like nothing else, but a good glass of scotch whiskey is a good second.
When it comes to his job, Monroe can act just as cocky among both his clients and those he?s facing off against. Monroe will not stop short of only breaking the law in order to get his client?s innocence proven, but within that scope he will twist words and meanings to even smear the names of those he?s facing off against. But as long as the innocence is proven and the bill is paid, then Monroe can be happy with the work he?s done.

Biography: Born in the year 2015, Monroe J. Stein was raised into a family of lawyers that rarely lost court cases and were very successful ones. The lawyers were popular on earth for a few years before his father took a court case that caused trouble for him. Trouble that would pass onto him as gangs and mafia bosses decided to cause him trouble. Various assassins and mercenaries on earth came after him.
However because it was the father's debt, and his "mysterious death" came suddenly, it became the son's responsibility to pay this debt. And they turned out to need legal help, specifically from someone who could hold his own in the court system. So they made sure that he would get into law school. Law school would be difficult for him. But despite the fact that this first came as his "debt", he grew to like it and continued to do it more even after the debt was paid.
Liking what he has done thus far Monroe decided that he would continue even despite the debt being cleared off for him. He graduates law school on time, despite hard work and difficulty, and manages to become a criminal defense attorney. But then the cataclysmic event that would happen to damage earth hit and he was one of the survivors. As he was picked up by a ship that had travelled to Earth to pick up survivors on the planet that would have some advantage.
Allowed to keep his name he developed a more egotistical and self-centered personality that was more of a mask for him-self, like some of the students in law school. Now he works for the Imperial Guardians, the new Elite Guard as their law expert to make sure they remain on a legal path. Even though he can?t use much magic, he has been considered valuable enough to be of use to them for a while.
Over the years, however, his business reputation became more severe and cut-throat since his specific field of law allowed him to free more criminals and make more problems for the police than was necessary. Still he is quite useful to them so there is a lot of things that he can do to help them and that is why he is kept around. Eventually he was given a potion that would make him able to survive as long as most of the races out there.
His training included reading the various laws including the ones of the Zarethians, the Narrikians and those of many other empires. This was so that he could handle galactic level law and handle the situations that he had been chosen to handle.
Weapons:
The weapons he wields are those that are standard for IG operatives, but mainly he prefers a pistol and a dagger. So the pistol he has is a gray color and can fire 2 lasers simultaneously with an armor piercing and am variety to them.

The weapon is quite useful for him as well.

While he may have magic, he is not very capable of the magic that he has at his disposal and is unlikely to use the magic that he can. Since he is only about a level 3 in magic, he has very little skill in magical fights, and not much power behind his spells. Of course through training he eventually will work that out.
Fears:
His fears are extreme heights, fires, being buried alive and he is also afraid of loss because the failure of his job might result in his loss of life.
Interests:
Obviously if he is a lawyer he would of course have a profound interest in the various laws of different regimes that there are. He is also interested in technology, such as the powered weapon technology that is used in his weaponry and the constructor systems that have also been installed in his tech. Any and all brands of Scotch or Whiskey are also what he is interested in as he enjoys drinking those.
History and standings of other empires are also something that is interesting to him. It seems that he wants to research those, and he will. Also he has an interest in different forms of magic, that are useful for him as well.
Aspirations:
He has a desire or aspiration to be the best at what he does which is in this case the law and anything related to the legal department and aspect of the reformed EG. Another of his desires is to become richer than he already is. He also has aspirations to learn magic and martial arts, to learn more about sciences and mathematics, to learn how to use his magic in new ways and to learn how to use his technology more efficiently.
