The Legacy Of Leaders
« on: June 13, 2011, 05:12:40 PM »
For generations, the leaders of the emperor were given, when the time came, entrance to The White Room, a pocket dimension full of ancient secrets. It was more than a weapon's cache.. It was a fortress. It was where the secrets of time were locked, leaving entire legacies within.

Entrance to the White Room required an ancient tablet which only the true, rightful bloodline of the throne were meant to have. The stone tablet had been guarded for generations, kept from falling into the wrong hands. If an enemy of the throne ever got entrance into the room, it would spell disaster. There would be no stopping said forces.

..So it was somewhat ironic that the one currently in possession of the throne was Rezick's son, Lucien, who now was shuffled into the White Room. After all.. The throne now lied with Ken Atlas. Alas, Rezick wanted his son to take the throne. All which lied in the White Room would help him accomplish just that.

Alas.. Inside, there were no weapons. There were no ancient secrets. There was no treasure.. Not at the first glance.

But as soon as Lucien entered, a hologram recording of Rezick appeared, actually an Artificial Intelligence profile of him.

"My son.. The secrets of our empire will soon be yours.. But first, there is much you must hear. Come and take a seat."

The voice of his dad? But wait, wasn?t his dad dead? Killed by Thel, someone he never should have trusted to begin with? This seemed suspicious, but Lucien walked over to where the nearest chair was and had a seat. Things were beginning to look up and for the moment he forgot about the embodiment problem that he had been looking for a solution to. You see embodiments were hard beings to kill. And the Anrufe had a bio-terror agent as well that could harm narrikians, yet another reason he was walking through the armory. He was trying to find a solution to many problems all at once.

Where to begin though was the question? Surveying his surroundings he saw nothing from the stories his father had told him of the white room, no weapons, no treasure and nothing of value to himself at all. Somewhat disapppointed he asked.

"What is with this place Dad?" He asked, somewhat skeptical that it was his dad.

"My son.. This is the White Room.. But you are not yet ready to see the contents that it holds. Not until you hear my words."

The AI hologram walked across the room, admiring the structures of the walls and floors. They were well built, Ancient Narrikian architecture...

"I created the Elite Guard in order to protect our people.. And know this that a great leader requires, above all else, three things. Courage, to do what is right no matter what the cost. Hope, to always shine as a light to the people whom you serve.. And most importantly.. Love. You, my son, have much to learn before you are ready to take back the throne.

"However; you must not allow Ken Atlas to rule over the empire in your place. He is a very.. Dangerous man. He and I have been rivals for years.. All since The First Narrikian War. Alas, he has been a great help to our empire, through originally leading our military to now taking my place until you are ready.. But you must not allow him to fool you, my son."

At that, a blade appeared on the table before Lucien.

"Take that blade. It is the one which I wielded in my reign. It is to be your own blade now. Take it with you and go from here so that you may begin your training to become the emperor. There are three whom you must go to. There are three whom you must learn from. Then, you shall be worthy of someday taking the place of Ken Atlas upon the throne.."

At that, a mass amount of ancient secrets and technology became visible before Lucien within the room.

"Know this, my son. You face a dangerous time ahead... But I will always be within you. I will always be with you. Go now to the dojo on our ancient homeworld, and learn, my son. Learn to be a leader."

Father wanted him to be leader? Ken and Rezick had been rivals? Ken was an enemy ever since the first war? But how to deal with Interpol and the Hand without arousing suspicion and so he decided to ask his father a question. However in light of recent events he saw what was recorded and picked up the blade which in his hands changed into the true form it was always meant to be, not the weaker form that had belonged to his father.

Lucien's book opened up sucking up all the secrets of the ancient technology and magic. Soon things would change in the galaxy, and a new order would begin. "Very well Dad. I shall go, and I shall train. And I shall return. And Ken shall lose the throne. Tell the Golem I said he is to allow no one but me into this place, not even clones of me. And especially not Ken." He was not as skilled as his dad yet, but that could be remedied. And so he opened a portal to the ancestral world and walked through it casting a sealing spell on the White Room so that only he could get in. Later he would make an item that could disable the seal, but for now only he could come and go as he pleased into the white room.
