Everything on the planet was now existing outside time. Everything outside the planet seemed to vanish as the planet seemed to disappear all together. Time on the planet was collapsing as everything on the planet started to fall apart.

The Temporal Citadel began to fight against the corruption taking place, attempting to properly defend and restore the planet. The negativity was greatly slowing it's power though.

Negative energy started to seep into the Citadel itself, overloading it with information. Clouds of dark smoke began to crash into the Citadel, trying to corrode it.

The Citadel rewound time around itself as best it could but the negativity eventually got to it. The Citadel after all was considerably less powerful without Templars around to control it.

The Citadel was taken over, and the ancient Templar knowledge stored their became part of Plex.

The Citadel rewound itself into it's previous state. It would not allow such a shameful defeat to happen again.
