Not Native
« on: June 21, 2011, 10:57:12 AM »
Felicity (or as the negi now parading it were calling it, Anger) was not native to the galaxy. It was strangely affected while the rest of this galaxy was not. The ship's systems began to lock the Coalition out as negi began to split off from the Coalition and cause epic amounts of damage.

Being unable to control the Negis, nor control Felicity for that matter. Matry, decided he'd do something drastic. He'd shut off the stasis field, causing the entirety of the ship to go under the effects of a time dilation field. This would cause the ship to freeze in time to anyone's else perspective, but from anyone on board the ship it would be the same. This would give them a small amount of time where they had to actually defend themselves, while outside it would've been much longer. And the remaining Coalition forces would retrieve them. Typing the code into the Library control systems he frowned, the Library's VI's were shut off, and as a safeguard Felicity never had direct access to the Libraries systems. The stasis field lowered, and the megalith froze in time.

But could the Coalition hold off the negi, even with the time dialation field, long enough? The negi stormed into rooms of Felicity, hijacking the advanced weaponry and using it against Coalition forces. They were making their way towards the Library. The Coalition were good fighters, but could they fight darker versions of themselves with advanced alien weaponry when the negi had the advantage? They were being overwhelmed.

The negative energy began to corrupt the time dilation, reversing it so that time would ACCELERATE within the field.

The Library's own STAR DRIVE used it's vast energy supply to active a a true stasis field, creating layer upon layer of time dilation fields. The Negi would corrupt one, but they would find hundreds. The Library's defense systems activated, every trooper was clad in the finest armor available, WARDEN drones were sent out in the thousands, if they got past all that. They'd find something a lot more dangerous, someone a lot more dangerous. A very, very pissed of founder.

The negative energy kept reversing the stasis fields, just as they kept appearing. The WARDEN Drones and soldiers were going head-to-toe against negi who would send blasts of negative energy at them, causing massive explosions. The negi armies kept marching inwards, pushing the soldiers further back towards the docking bay which the Library was located in.

The massive explosions met the hardened and advanced technology of the Archive, most GR-armor could take a ship-cannon to the chest and keep walking. And the fields started to appear faster, and faster, and faster with more energy behind them to hold back the tide of conversion. The Library's super advanced technology was just that, super-advanced. It wouldn't be bested by some stupid energy. And the Coalition forces pushed back with everything they had, which was a lot. The Negis were a savage race, but the Coalition could be just as savage. VICNI/Basilisk was released into the atmosphere, programed to only infect those with negative energy signatures. Hundreds of Negis turned to stone in the first three minutes.

Even as negi fell, they kept charging. They fired back with weapons from Felicity. It was a question of who would fall first now. Meanwhile, negative energy started to pour into the hull of Felicity. It began to move towards the docking bay where the Library was at, concentrating there to backup the negi.

The Coalition forces were on the defensive, taking their last line of defense on the docking bridge that led from Felicity to the Library. A barricade formed of dead negi bodies, scrap metal, energy shields, and Paladia clad soldiers as the front line. "Here we stand! HERE THEY FALL!" The Commander roared from his Inquisitor armor, firing energy blasts from his over-sized arm, along with firing warp cannon shots from his free hand. The Paladia corp held back the charge of the Negis with their shields and Basilisk blades, even a slight scratch meant death for a Negi. Thousands of Wardens flew through the air, cutting Negis in two with their saws, or blasting them into oblivion with their lasers.

The negi responded with an equal amount of force, meeting their attacks with their own energy blasts. A good number more of negi did fall. Only a few hundred were remaining as they started taking down WARDEN drones and bypassing many blasts. By the time they got to the barricade, only a good hundred remained...

But then, reinforcements arrived. They were not Coalition forces.

Miniscule holes started to appear in the hull as the negative energy was at work. It would not affect the negi, but the Coalition would not be so lucky. Could they survive in the vacuum of space? The negi could. They would thrive there, in fact, in the cold darkness.

Portals opened on the other side of the barricade, and through it, an army of... K2323-cyborgs came through. They were the cyborgs created by C2323 that had been taken over in the secret K Lab, now the Plex Labs... The cyborgs began to take out Coalition forces from behind their barricade, while negi tried to break through it from the other side.

The Coalition forces were clad in armor that had it's own atmosphere that was constantly regulated, they could fight in the void of space, at a comfortable temperature and humidity. An APF raised by the Library defense systems, a few cyborgs got passed but they were nearly instantly cut down by the Coalition forces. The Paladia corp fought long and hard, but they were better armed, and had range support backing them up. Every time a Negi got close to their shield wall a sword would strike out, cutting it down, or a shot from behind would blow it away.

The negi kept fighting, but they knew that they were loosing. They needed that negative energy to come through. Finally, it did, as the structure that held up the docking bay collapsed, and the oxygen, along with everything inside the docking bay, was rushed out into open space.

The negis used the temporary hole in the defenses of the Coalition to organize an attack as they were brushed into space, breaking through the barricade and taking out a number of Coalition Forces. The cyborgs, meanwhile, had stopped trying to get inside when they started to be destroyed. They joined the fight in dead space, using cannon weapons to blow up Coalition forces.

Yet when the oxygen rushed out the Coalition forces armor activated magnetized boots, meaning they stood exactly where they were as the Negis flew into open space. When the Negis attacked they met nothing but staunch resistance.

OOC: Well... That sucks.

The negi and cyborgs were at a loss now. They'd lost their advantage. They started to spread out away from the docking bay, landing miles away on top of various parts of the ship which they began to penetrate.

With that Matry disconnected the Library's shared energy with ANGER, causing Felicity's DUAL CORE generator to cease having a minimal amount of power to continue usage. It rendered the megalith dead. The Coalition would defend this one point, this one way in.

The negi were not so much worried about the Library anymore. They were content with taking the rest of Felicity. They began to secure it as a foothold for the negi. With time, more negi would arrive, and the supertitan would be moved. Even with its power generators down, they would find a way.

"Matry? We need you to activate the Stone-Hold mandate." The Commander informed his chairman over his personal QEB, a frown on his face as suddenly the Coalition forces entered the Library. And massive amounts of power started to gather on every single side of the Library's hull, the Sigurd defense systems were engaged.

The negi sensed the boost of power and were attracted to it. They flocked to the Library docking bay, teleporting in by the masses, and approached the hull of the Library itself, ready to destroy it entirely. They reached out their hands and began to literally suck out the power of the Library, ciphering it into a large ball of negative energy that was forming in mid-air. The Library wouldn't have enough power for its weapon.

Everytime a Negi got close to a Library it was met by a haze of Basilisk VICNI, hundreds turn to stone as they teleported into the area. The others would find that they Library's hull was in fact draining THEM of their energy, such as the Library's ability. A massive pulse of Basilisk radiation was sent forth, and by massive I mean massive. It covered the entirety of Felicity, piercing it from the inside out, where it had no armor to defend from the attack. Most, if not all Negis were petrified.

(Due to energy boost by Negis.)

...The burst didn't work.

The negi's energy corrupted the Library. It had just let the negi into it's systems. Their energy, negative by its very nature, took over all Library systems. The Library members found themselves being locked out of their controls.

Yet, the Library had been integrated to have the same negative energy channeling abilities as the Felicity's dual core generator, this meant that it was used to negative energy, and could properly contain it within it's power conduits.

OOC: What I'm saying is that the Library was integrated with the same negative energy channeling technology that the DUAL CORE has, meaning it can properly contain negative energy without it corrupting the systems.

The remaining negi found themselves being absorbed by the negative energy which now left, departing from the ship on its way back to Plex.
