Chocolate Pudding Is Simmering!
« on: June 21, 2011, 11:09:00 AM »
The pudding began to turn dark and started to simmer. From it, pudding wyrms began to hop out and eat Relorians. The Relorians began to find negi of themselves splitting off and causing much destruction throughout the planet.

In the center of the attack, within a cave currently housing Mecheran diplomats, a mother stands tall with her infant daughter in her arms. She glares out at the darkness, and rather than force out her inner demons and craft a Negi, she embraces them, melding them with her figuratuve 'angels' as the baby begins to squirm and cry. "Now now, little Ausserre, worry not. The big meanie won't be able to touch you." Irrela whispers, drawing an ancient, powerful symbol in Spirit on the babe's chest, causing her skin to glow with a golden light, pushing back at the darkness of Plex.

"A'arrian, meu aera Asarrtra ourren Ausserre." She whispers, a golden blue fog billowing from her mouth as she spoke. "Mistress Time, I would make a request of you."

Elsewhere, a Son of Plunder wielding Permice blades drops down on the planet, plunging into the boiling pudding as she glows with powerful magic. As soon as she hits the pudding, the magic spreads across the planet through various paths, flash-cooling the pudding and catching the Wyrms in the sedating cold.
Seeing the world through a child's eyes is truly a unique experience. It helps you to retrieve that sense of awe, magic and wonder that you lost as you lost your innocence. Tell me, when was the last time that you thought of those childhood dreams? You know, the ones that you used to spend all your time wondering and fantasizing about? Have you forgotten them so easily? Have you forgotten what it felt like to see something for the first time, to see the magic in the mundane? Everyone says you should take the time to 'Stop and smell the roses'. But you should also take the time to look for the fairies, embrace the wind and enjoy the rain. Just once today, stop for a moment and look into that little piece of nature you pass everyday. Perhaps you may see something you did not notice before.

The negative energy did not let the magic spread through the pudding. It began to corrupt the son and his magic the moment he entered the pudding. The pudding started to reach out and drag the son down, trying to suffocate him in the boiling water as it began to corrupt him, causing his skin to wither, his hair to fall out, and his internal organs to both boil and wither away at the same time.

Of course, it was a gradual process...

Alas for the negativity, the boiling pudding's heat could not reach her. Personal friend of the late Embodiment of Snow, rumored to have blood frozen within her veins, and a personality equally cold and merciless as the tundra from which she hails. And even without the magic, that same frigid cold began to spread into the pudding, sapping the heat and the very strength from the negative energy itself. Common knowledge, after all, states that once an area reaches absolute zero, energy cannot function, and indeed even time itself freezes. The pudding around her freezes hard, now under her command as she sends tendrils of cold through the rest of the pudding, expanding her influence. "Such a pity, that you could not see that which we see. Your life, like my own, is as brittle as the frost coating the flowers in late autumn. And you have just brought about a blizzard even you cannot tame." She whispers, her breath fogging the brown ice as her eyes glint a dangerous blue.

On the surface, the cave housing the Shamaness, her daughter and the Mecherans starts emitting a golden glow, similar to Verrtsi's light. The Glyph has taken root in Ausserre's spirit, traveling across time and space to carry a message. In return, Irrelai drops to her knees, making sure to protect the tiny infant. She shudders and gasps, her appearance flashing suddenly to that of an old woman garbed in naught but scant feathers, all her skin wrinkled and her bones creaking with every move. Every breath wheezes, the visage of someone standing at the edge of Death's eternal river. But as quickly as the image appeared, it faded, leaving the exhausted and panting shamaness crouches on the floor. "Twenty years, for twenty minutes. I call to thee, Ausserre Iorae, my daughter. Your current self requires your aid, let your power flow through me, through time, through spirit and blood. And in return, I give unto Her, the grand mistress whose domain is irrevocable, indestructible and nigh immutable, my own life energy. Twenty years off my life may you take, in exchange for twenty minutes of my daughter's full power"

OOC: Asura, yes?

The negativity left this planet and everything returned to normal.

OOC: Oh god damnit! I was just gonna do something awesome! Oh well, maybe next time then.

The Negativity dispersing, Irrelai's spell reverses itself, returning the offering to her as the Glyph fades away. Her future returned, she stands on shaking legs and looks to the sky. "This is bad. Like the calm before the Storm."

Luna, emerging from the pudding, climbs onto solid ground and starts brushing herself off, freezing the bits of pudding to make them easier to clean off. "This Plex thing isn't very intelligent, is it? It's like fighting a child. All it can do is throw it's negative energy at us and hope for the best, it would seem. Still, could be problematic. It shouldn't even be able to affect the positive side. There must be something wrong in the Outerverse."
