Zumi is mellow. She shows no emotions aside from the never ending depression that carried over from her life and even then she doesn't show it all that often. Zumi can be described as aloof, cool, collected, relaxed, and not all there. She had killed herself in her actual life because of the bullying, the way people treated her for being different and even in some cases better than or prettier. Zumi was a cute girl, she had a figure, a brain, and a good head on her shoulders but that didn't stop the jealousies from the girls to push her to edge. Sure, Zumi didn't run with their crowd and she never tried to out win them in anything but that made them hate her more - she was pretty and different, weird.

Now that Zumi is just a shell of herself she tends to be a bit more provocative. She doesn't act that way but she looks it. Zumi can be happy every now and again but it's only sometimes and very rare. Etches are on Zumi's skin where she used to carve herself up - they carried over too - and she thinks of them from time to time.

Biography:

Zumi was 17 and was about to turn 18 and finish her high school career when she offed herself. Zumi didn't do much to put herself in the spotlight but that didn't seem to matter; her mere appearance, presence, and name made some girls curl in disgust and jealousy because Zumi was, well, bringing out their insecurities. Zumi was proud of herself and she wasn't ever negative or condescending to herself; she was nice to everyone as well. She was what the others wanted to be and what some hated being, etc.

She was hated on immediately when she went to the high school. Even if she didn't do anything public, like cheerleading or dancing like some expected her to, the girls still hated her, prodded and made fun. Zumi made good grades and was on high honors and on a full ride to a scholarship at any choice of a school. She had decent relationships and she stood up for those who couldn't defend themselves. The girls just grew more and more envious and then finally they drove her to insanity.

Zumi might have had a lot of faith in herself in the beginning of high school but as her years ended the faith faded away as people made rumors about her and forced her to think negatively about herself, to question herself. Finally she couldn't take it and she did the one and only imperfect thing ever - she killed herself.

What brought her back, years later, is still unknown. She is the first Nightmare to be created.

Nightmares are people who were tormented. They're a nightmare because no tormenter ever wants to see their prey after they had already died. For whatever reason they are brought back to the world; maybe out of vengeance, out of anger, spite, or because they were so innocent.
