"Do you want my honest opinion or a watered down version of the truth?" asked Lucien, as he did not want to offend the sensibilities of this man who was being kind to him unlike the guy who claimed to be his 'inventor' so that he would not have to blast this one hopefully.

"Currently, I would have to say force Interpol to back off now. And after that, who knows. But I know one thing, they don't back off and....." Heat formed in the palm of his hand condensing into something that he had made earlier, something that had gotten him labelled as a pyschopath, a brilliant crimson fireball hovered above his hand. "I'll burn them up!"

James became a little uneasy around the fireball; Magic was something he was uneasy about here. "C-Could you uhm... Put that away please?" He muttered, after all his control over these characters was limited to him being sat at his computer with a cold glass of scotch "Uhm... Moving on.... Why are you looking to fight these interpol guys?"

The fireball slowly melted away, as Lucien took a deep breath and calmed down. To explain why would take a while, to show why would be easier and so that is what he would do. Turning towards James, he said to him. "It would be easier if I just showed you. " Energy gathered around his body, and he put his hand on the table sending a pulse of magic into James. It would give him insight into the reasons why Lucien had wanted to force Interpol to back off. His memories from this part of his life would be displayed in the mind of James.

"Not as of yet. And even if I did have a family, what would be the point? They would only be targets and a vulnerability in this period of time." said Lucien, mentally thinking of the long list of enemies the Narrikians had and how many of those would go after his family or friends if he ever had any.

Years ago, Lucien may have believed a positive attitude would lead to positive results, but with the mess the dimension was in?yeah no. He did not believe it even for a second and would not allow himself to relax his guard, but James had said he only couldn?t use magic. Good thing he had a gun with him, and not just any gun but a solar laser gun. Checking to make sure he had it, he considered if he should shoot James or not. The guy had been kind to him, but now was just being annoying.

Positivity set aside, there was madness in the dimension currently. Galactic level turmoil and everything falling apart at the seams did not give room to be positive. Instead, Lucien had his own schemes that he would enact. Even if as James had put it, he was a bit of a pessimist still of course there left matters that needed to be handled and this meant he would have to unfortunately involve himself. Sadly, Interpol and the Anrufe were unlikely to ever let up.
Not one to follow rules, Lucien decided he would do something rather unorthodox that technically would not violate the request James had made of not using magic per say, as James had specifically said to not use magic in his presence. So, Lucien reached into his pocket and pulled out a constructor system and began to fiddle with it, his mind on the past, and the present.

"You are right, sometimes positive personalities yield results. But to be positive all the time would be a mistake that would likely be fatal." The construct system began to shift and re-arrange itself into a gauntlet of sorts aided by his magic, a project he had been working on that was still in the works, but would eventually be finished. The Multi Weapon Augmentation Gauntlet had been built only once, but was still in the development stages.

"Not sure yet." said Lucien honestly, as he concentrated more of his magical energy into the device which FINALLY formed into what he had wanted it to form into this entire time, and he sighed for a moment. It still wasn't powerful enough nor did it have the proper protections. Oh well, he would work on it later and so he opened a portal, hurled the device into it and sighed once more as he closed the portal. "Was working on an upgrade to some technology I had used in the past, but thought it was too outdated."

James made some notes on the paper before him "From what I gather" James finally piped up "You have some serious mental problems that appear to demand that you 'flex your muscles' so to speak every time you feel on the spot" He looked dead on at Lucien "Why is that?"

"Now are we done playing 20 questions, or do I have to make you finish?" A hint of a threat was in his voice. And sparks of energy began to course along his arm.

"No, we're not" James called his bluff. No one was stupid enough to openly attack a man in a room full of other powered people. He smiled, taking more notes "Now why do you think it's acceptable to attack others?" James had a tone as if he were having to teach a child normal social actions "It's clear that your poor creator didn't do anything either."

Under his breath Lucien muttered. "We'll be done soon enough with this stupidity.'"

"Because when I try being nice and lower my guard, well let's just say things don't turn out the way they should. " He said that aloud, as silently a portal appeared underneath the chair James was sitting in, invisible and with the signature of the portal suppressed. Lucien would send James to somewhere else so that he could consider this done.
