A change for the better?
« on: July 02, 2011, 12:23:24 PM »
The groups known as Interpol and Anrufe:  Both logically would have biological weapons of terror that could kill most of the Narrikians in a heartbeat, and well Lucien did not plan on dying thank you very much for a verty long period of time. Assuming that they did not have the DNA of the race he had just found out about from a very helpful merchant that he had killed after getting the information, Lucien would perform the ritual that would change him now and forever with the aid of his book into something that had once existed, but now did not.

Not fond of doing this, but even more not fond of dying his book flew up and opened to the page which had the instructions of the ritual written upon it. Taking out the chalk, Lucien drew each symbol in perfect form careful not to make a single mistake. It was frustrating he had to go to such lengths to defend himself from death, but as there was no antidote he knew of to any of the bio weapons they likely could use he would need to do something like this.

Cutting his palm, he took some of his blood and drew a slash over two of the symbols with his blood mixed with some liquid clay to be somewhat like ink and still hold the power of his blood, a spell that would not be able to be reversed once he cast it correctly. Fortunately this was only the precursor to what he was up to, the change that would make him unable to be stopped by those biological weapons that made the people so terrified.

Unlike most of his race he was not terrified as he drew the final symbol and then healed up his hand and let his magic link up with his blood and the symbols causing them all to activate in harmony, filling the area with a platinum mist. Pain shot through his body, not enough to make him pass out but pain nonetheless that would cause him if he wasn?t determined to rethink this entire procedure.

"Cestus Xilaphos Oregas!" He uttered the words that would spark the evolution and so it happened, first his book turned into a mist that contained everything it did, which entered his body and fused with his brain making him more intelligent and more powerful at the same time. Next his clothes were replaced by white ones that were more durable and had strange runic markings on them. All his weaponry including his infinite storage bag disappeared and a new weapon appeared at his waist. Gloves appeared on his hands that were unique.

Lastly his hair and eyes would undergo a change as well, his hair becoming a brown color instead of black and his eyes becoming silver colored. No, he was not blind but he could see but the eyes were colored silver now making him look older and wiser. A single streak of red was in his brown hair, a mark of someone who had undergone many trials during his life.

"So this is what I look like now." He said, looking in a nearby mirror.

His body was not done changing yet however, for at a genetic level it was altered so that none of the biological weapons that would normally work against a Narrikian could affect him since he had gone so far beyond that, and become something new and improved. His body had changed as had his appearance and a special set of weapons replaced his old ones. Eyes glowing platinum, he held out his hand and all traces of his genetic material including his blood was burned out of the cosmic palace except for that which was inside of him. With that done, he decided to make sure no one else would get the ritual and so he wiped the information on it out of his mind, and out of himself.
