A very important mission.
« on: July 02, 2011, 03:36:56 PM »
The starship known as Disney of the new K Empire appeared outside the gates of Japae, within the pocket dimension itself, hovering in the sky just above the floating platform of a city. It was here to take the pocket dimension back, no matter what the cost. K Empire soldiers were released outside the gates and began to storm the city as hornet fighters patrolled the air.

But too bad for them Japae was far too changed to be changed back.It wreaked of sin, the streets were flooded with blood, the buildings... What buildings? They were crumbled, ruined, the skies black with ash and red streaks of lightning. Japae had merged with Cruor to the point it had become a part of Cruor, no longer just a separate pocket dimension anymore when it had first been placed in the large chasm. The pocket dimension had started to shatter and integrate its self into the planet. In reality Japae hardly existed anymore, nearly assimilated with Cruor.

Lightning sparked through the sky zapping the hornet fighters as shadows gathered in the 'city' watching the new arrivals. The shadows? Corrupted, tortured, and completely mutilated forms of the people that once frequented Bula Bula, Dema, and Japae, all freakishly unrecognizable and hopeless.

This did not matter to the soldiers. They still had orders to take the city, or what was left of it, back. Mages on the ship began to repair the crumbling pocket dimension, attempting to restore it by recreating it and expelling the corruption. The negative energy which had cursed the pocket dimension was slowly being poured out of the pocket dimension and onto Cruor, locked out of it.

The lightning met shields which surrounded the hornets, protecting them as they took the city back.

The lightning being full of negative energy its self didn't just hit the shields and bounce back, it instead hit the shield and laced its self into it, seeking to corrupt it and travel through it to what was underneath.

The negative energy wasn't to be shoved back so easily. Japae had grown into Cruor and Cruor into Japae. All that existed of 'Japae,' were a measely bits of sky of the pocket dimension. The ground one Cruors. The land was Cruors. Build a pocket dimension? It wouldn't be Japae, it would be a new one all together. The only thing Japae were those measely little slivers.

The remaining Negative energy formed its self into darkened black birdlike shapes of energy that flew around, attacking the invading mages in dives, and spreading corrupted fire throughout the area.

In the middle of the mass of shadows, Kurai, a magical clone of her appeared in her usual nude self, wings arched high. "Now now, you didn't really think I'd just leave my Sinners paradise unguarded, did you?" Kurai snapped her fingers and more negative energy began to attack the newest created pocket dimension parts. "Burn them alive. But leave a few for tortures."

At that, the corrupted mindless minions of inhabitants attacked, casting spells, flinging energy, and some even attempting to eat the invaders through cannibalism.

The clone of Kurai herself flew up to meet the Disney, outstretching her hand and directing tendrils of black energy to consume the ship.

The lighting was not able to seep though the fighter as the highly charged, unstable energy bounced around the shields themselves, mixed in with the shields secondary power source, sealing magic. The negative energy began to expand from the heat the moment it neared the shields, while it's substance also was slowly sealed away by the shields themselves. The sealing magic literally wrapped itself around the negative energy so that it could seal the negative energy before the negative energy could corrupt through it.

The remnants of Japae were all the soldiers were after. It was not important for anything to remain now. It was more of a symbolic thing. The new pocket dimension, containing very little of war had once been Japae, now disappeared entirely. Pocket dimensions did not typically take up space in the parent dimension. They did, but they created another layer of space, so to speak. There was nothing around Cruor that anyone could interact with on this level.

Inside the pocket dimension, the mages were pretty much levitating in the sky, fighting off the negative energy that remained by using spell circles. Before the negative energy would have a chance to corrupt those circles, they would expel the negative energy from the pocket dimension. The corrupted fire was fought by sages who simply gave the fire nothing to corrupt, trapping them inside small holes in the pocket dimension and forcing them outward.

Kurais negative energy was also continuously expelled. The mages could keep this up all day. They began to create another pocket dimension within the pocket dimension. This one would, in fact, absorb all the negativity, the negis included, and break the negativity down, pitting it against itself.

Kurai would not have even been able to get near Disney before her tendrils were incinerated and sealed away by the shield surrounding it. Railgun fire began to rain down on Kurai, the ballistics too much for one negi alone to handle, especially when she was being absorbed into a pocket pocket dimension.

Symbolism was normally in the eye of the beholder. One could call the new pocket dimension Japae, and one would call the assimilated parts of Cruor and the chasm they were in as well as its corrupted inhabitants, Japae. In reality, what really defined a land's right to be called its origins? To Kurai she won as she had corrupted the land and completely destroyed what was her counterparts brothers once great land, so what if there was a new one? It was still an ultimate win that that Dragon Fool would someday have to realize.

One could create a new one all they wanted to. It didn't make it its namesake.

Just because the fire was corrupted did not mean corruption was its goal. It also burned, like any other fire out there. Sure it couldn't corrupt what it touched. But it could sure as hell burn to ashes anything in its path. When the fire had lots its corruption it instead changed to arsenic colored fire, the complete opposite of a Phoenix's Holy Fire, Unholy fire.

The Unholy Fire, unlike the corrupted fire was much stronger and harder to deal with as it was like its counterpart Holy Fire, the strongest fire under godfire.

Kurai was only a magical clone of Kurai there to only protect Cruor and its other lands. So if she died? It didn't matter. Of course, not that even a clone of Kurai would lose that easily. Using her wings to shield herself from the the pocket dimension, Kurai caused the ballistics that came near her to heat up inside and explode through combustion before hitting her. Much like her counterparts tactic against guns.

There were no Negi's, just corrupted (through magic) forms of the inhabitants. These teleported to the outer edge of Cruor before they could be caught up in the pocket dimension.

The sun pocket dimension suddenly began to shake. It was about to explode, and anything not shielded would feel it's wrath as negative energy would be expelled and poured onto Cruor.

(This is your own fault for ignoring my attacks.)

Because the mages didn't fight back the Unholy Fire consumed and devoured every one of them in its path and then went to work burning the walls of the newer pocket dimension..

Negative energy explosion? Wouldn't really do anything to the Planet or its inhabitants. Cruor was already a sinful negative energy blood infested wasteland. And explosion of Negative Energy would just be adding more fuel to the fire and strengthening those Negi that had taken home there and the planet its self. The inhabitants that weren't Negi might become a little more corrupt and gain a bit more torture. But that was fine for Kurai.

Any 'wrath,' wasn't wrath to an already wrathful planet.

Seeing the mission as a failure, they began to evacuate. The ship hyperdrived away after the fighters returned.
