A press release was issued from the Hand HQ. A represenative of the Hand spoke first. There were all kinds of civilians and reporters on the scene.
"Approximately six hours ago in the middle of the night, director Eric Mann left the planet, to a location which, for safety reasons, will not be disclosed at this time. Just two hours ago, per Mann's orders, moving of mister Lustre to a secure holding cell began. When the prisoner was being moved, nanites activated within his body and began to preform damage to his brain. We are unsure at this time what the severity of the damage is.
"Mister Lustre was placed inside a transport vehicle and the transport went on as scheduled until the transport vehicle was hijacked remotely, and a self destruct command was issued for the fighter. All but one agent evacuated the transport vehicle. The other agent stayed behind with Lustre. It was at that time that the transport vehicle's self destruct feature was disabled, and it docked with a ship which we believe to have been Black Guard. How long it has been here, and how it was not detected is not yet known, but an investigation will be launched.
"The agent on board the transport was given specific instructions to hand Lustre over to the ship. Before he could take action, an unidentified male arrived at the scene and rescued the two, who proceeded to the secure holding cell. While all of this was going on, though, another attack was taking place on the Zarethian colony of Terraguove. There, a small party of Narrakians believed at this time to be connected with the attack on the transport vehicle arrived at a factory where a small firefight took place. Those men have implicated the Narrakian government in these attacks, though another piece of intelligence we have gathered connects these attacks to a Black Guard operative known as Victor .Y. Price.
"About an hour ago, a third attack took place nearby the capital. The family of the agent, who will not be named at this time, who was in charge of transporting Lustre was surrounded by a force of about fifty men who attempted to abduct them. The attempt failed, but twenty Zarethian Hand agents were abducted from the scene, and the fifty men attempted to detonate a Quantum Bomb, which was contained by agents at the sight."
The crowd gasped at this, and the voice of the agent was overshadowed by screaming. It was only when the agent started yelling that they calmed down.
"HEY! There WILL be order. We have increased the defenses of the planet, and are prepared for any action that we must take. It is imperative that you all stay calm and collected. Report anything suspicious to the government immediately... I would also like to report that just moments ago several children of individuals who are supportive of the Zarethian Hand were abducted. We are doing everything in our power to track down the men behind this.
"There is no reason to worry. We have, as of this moment, apprehended Victor Price. More details will be released soon. Again, please, stay calm. Thank you."
