The streets of the Heliphlein empire were filled with a general sense of glee. People's lives were in general strayed away from the tremors of everyday, and replaced with a sense of hope for the future. It wasn't long before the New Gia mission was set to start, a voyage to the outside of the system they all lived in. As the people of the empire rejoiced in their good moods, they could not realize what was going on outside their secluded world, nor would they want to. On the bright side though, it was unlikely the evil would find it's way here.

Above them, around the whole city, a glowing, golden light appeared mysteriously, shining brightest on the souls who were about to make the journey.

OOC: Kay, butting in, sorry if I'm unwelcome.

"Captain's Log, stardate December 27, 2054. We have crash-landed on a lovely planet in the Saeculum Galaxy, population unknown. The native people of this planet are rejoicing in their good moods, they can not realize what is going on outside their secluded world, nor would they want to. On the bright side, though, it is unlikely that evil will find it's way here."

"Uh... Cap'n, are you talking to yourself again?"

"Yes, yes I am..."

From behind some bushes, the secluded Dull Star and his first mate were staring through binoculars at the people of the empire. A mechanical parrot sat on the captain's shoulder, squawking every once and awhile. These guys were trying to do recon, though they probably couldn't have been more obvious. Behind the two, an angry crew stood near the ship, Kiss Of Palms, complaining about the childish games that the two were planning.

...and then, Dull lost his balance and stumbled from out of the bushes, into the city street. The people may or may not have noticed him, what with the celebration and the green light and what not.

OOC: Somewhat confused on what Zak is doing.
Also, gold light.

The people of the Heliphlien empire suddenly began feeling like something was changing, there was a glowing light, but what was it? As a members of the crew were spending the last parts of they're life before the mission with their families, something was glowing, emanating from them. What could it be?

Meanwhile, on the moon of Crfl, there had been a loud crash. The natives that lived in underground tunnels, the Cruflbngrs were suddenly in a hustle and bustle because the ship had landed right on a system of tunnels. No one was hurt, but they were all in a fuss over weather or not they wanted to be closer or further from it. The ones who were dominated by curiosity came running, and would find rubble, cave ins, and partial views of a frigate. Not knowing what the latter of those was, they would stare, sniff, or even lick at the hull.

The nearby city though would not be so impressed. They had already dispatched a platoon of police to investigate the crashing ship.

Already in the city, the Heliphlein would mostly be curious about the golden light, but one cop would see the man fall from the bush. "Hey," he would say accusingly.

The light glew brightest upon them, singling out each of the crew and the ship itself. It would attempt instill courage and strength to the crew for that wasits purpose and it is hard to set foot in that great beyond but someone had to do it. It was time for these people to embrace their destiny, someone from the heavens thought, the source of the light. It was time.

The Heliphlein, Enkrakni, and Iapaq were all amazed by the light that was blessing them and they're ship.

"Hey, get away from there!" the ship engineer yelled in dismay, particularly at the man licking the hull. In the city, Dull, who was firmly on the ground, looked up at the police officer and replied with a sing-songish, "Heeeeey!"

The officer came up to the captain and asked him what he was doing on private property; the bush was part of a city dweller's yard.

...and then the mechanical parrot flew out of the bush and landed on his shoulder.

"That's not what I was thinking at all, but now that you mention it, I'll let you know that I make minimum wage," The officer continued with an angry face. He then watched the parrot, "You still didn't answer my question."

"Yes, well, uh," Dull replied, issuing a small, white piece of paper, a map of some sorts. "We are... uh... Engineers. Yeah. And we uh... We need... Um. Parts. Yeah, that."

A frigate warped to the moon, still a bit of a distance away. It was well armed, but had a sorta patchwork thing goin' on, like it was hastily thrown on any way that'd work. The weapons themselves looked like they'd be useful, but only against weaker ships and the like, not against a powerful empire's military craft. It hailed the moon, attempting to send a message.
Testing, testing, is this thi-Hello! We've just noticed your civilization, and have come as a representative of our empire in order to offer your people diplomatic aid. We are a civilian-owned cargo ship, and in a show of good will, we'd like to offer your empire some of the items we're transporting. Will you clear us for landing?

OOC: Okay, I'm getting sick of this. I put up the Aserical Shadow for a reason. I'd prefer to at least start the expedition before empires descend to find the Heliphlein.
