1. Asassin would not be capable of any magic due to Am inside of him, IE the machines.
2. The Am field around him would hinder it.
3. It was not true magic, but Psi. And he has no skill with Psi.

1. The only AM around him is the field, from what I read.
2. He displaced the AM field by exploiting it's weakness.
3. You said magic, so they are magic.

1. Nanites were injected into him. Let me qoute the post. A truth serum, along with anti magic nanites were injected into him.
