Despite his young age, Andrew is somewhat wise beyond his years, having been born as a Potential of the Planet Lux. He is a kind-hearted, fun-loving guy with a great amount of empathy and sympathy for those he connects himself with. He makes it his business to help those in need, as if they were family. He will forever put himself in the way of danger to save the ones he loves, even if it costs him his life and as such, he has been considered and referred to as a high risk-taker.

But on the planes of battle, his personality is somewhat reversed. When defending the ones he loves, he can become cold and ruthless, much like the rest of his race and will do what he must to survive. He is an avid adventurer, always looking to try something new or discover something hidden and when it comes to battle, he will only engage in combat if it is really needed of him to do so. His empathy is his greatest weapon and greatest weakness. It is one of his abilities to feel what others feel and if left unchecked, his emotions can be warped and used against him.

Biography:
Andrew McKenzie, born on the Planet Lux as "Andros Ken-Xi".
His inner energies tested at birth, Andros was found to be a "Potential". This meant that he was capable of both becoming an amazing warrior and intelligent person. For the first ten years of his life, Andros grew and studied under the most reverred tutor of their planet, gaining knowledge of the Universe and the many wonders it held, as well as the other races and sciences that could be found within it.

It was not long until Lux was pulled into what was known as a Galaxy's Edge, a war fought on the outskirts of the Milky Way. The initial spark that caused the war to begin was unknown but the Potentials used their abilitie to understand events and science in many ways logically assumed that it was one race attempting a conquest, a takeover of other surrounding and nearby planets. On Andros' 11th birthday, he was told that he would be taken out of the Solar Academy to train as a warrior, another soldier to prepare for an impending invasion. He tried at first to refuse but much to his horror, he was beaten into submittance. Grudgingly accepting the training he was about to gain, Andros entered into the Ultra Violet Forces to become a soldier.

Trained in combat for the next 7 years, Andros soared through the ranks in the army and became a feared combatant amonst his peers. Having been known as very empathetic and sympathetic scholar during his younger years, no one had anticipated that he would become cold and ruthless in the heart of battle. This is what made his superiors happy though. His seemingly warm and kind-hearted shell would fool his enemies and when he attacked in a violent rage, they would be caught off-guard and finished in a dark outburst of negative emotion. This sudden twist of darkness in what seemed to be the most loving person was brought about by the constant bullying during his time in the UV Forces.

In secret, Andros had continued his studies of the Universe and he soon came to learn of who the impending threat upon their planet was. That threat was the Veritasian army of the Planet Verita.
The Veritasians were wielders of dark abilities feared by a large population of the galaxies beyond the Milky Way. They had set out on a conquest to dominate the Universe and had already established their rule in 3 nearby galaxies. Andros reported this knowledge he had gained from his studies to his superiors. He wasn't rewarded for his discovery but put through endless torture for disobeying their rules. "Fight, Don't Study".

Nevertheless, his pre-emptive warning allowed the UV Forces to further rally as many troops as they could. On the eve of battle, Andros forged a sword that he could use in conjunction with his energy-based powers. He based the sword's design on that of the planet Earth's Japanese katana. Joined by his father in battle, Andros was told that he could dominate the entire enemy army if he put his full potential into fighting. For months, the UV Forces struggled to hold back the Veritasian army until eventually their defences crumbled and the planet was ordered to evacuate the non-fighting population. Watching on in horror, Andros saw men, women and children alike torn to pieces and destroyed before his very eyes.

The planet starting to come down in ruin, Andros' father  came to him, injured and dying. He apologised to his son for taking him from his studies but reassured him that he had done his father proud. Revealing to his son that he had been working on a secret project for years, Andros' father uncovered his own Potential. He had built a one-man ship capable of long-distance and wormhole travel. This ship was specific designed and completed with the help of a rogue Templar, who had defied the rules in favour of helping an old friend. Urging Andros to take the ship to find a planet that could help them, his father died. Andros manned the pod and took off into the depths of space, activating the wormhole technology which sent him rocketing through time and space into the inner circle of the Milky Way galaxy, some five years in the past according to the Chrono-analyser on the ship's diagnostics. The ship had been rushed to completion in the last 6 months of this year, the year 2059. Due to this, it was very unstable. Andros ship broke up in the atmosphere as he approached the planet Earth where he would soon call home. Smashing into the ground, Andros was knocked unconcious. He was soon found by a kind family who took him in and despite some minor memory loss, they reassured him he would be okay.

He remained with the family for 2 years, choosing a name that sounded somewhat similar to his original name. He became known as Andrew McKenzie. Over the course of the two years, he slowly regained the memories he lost and made many friends on Earth. He left the family's home at the age of 20 to seek out the scraps of the ship that took him to Earth. He vowed to someday repair the ship and return to Lux in the right time to save them. One year on, Andrew has had little luck in finding the scraps from the ship, believing them to have been scattered wide across the planet after it broke up in the atmosphere. While he has not given up the search for the ship, he has had to make a living on Earth and a life he is happy living, knowing that if he ever does repair the ship, the Chronocircuits would allow him to reach the planet in the right timeline. But until then, he still had 4 years before those events would ever occur on Lux that would cause him to leave and search for help. Until then, he could train and gather many allies.

Although his abilities are not exactly magic-based, on a scale of 1 - 10, Andrew's powers would rank an easy 7.
Andrew is capable of mid-high level of Luxarian abilities, able to manipulate Light energy into a number of useful things. This includes the use of both offensive and defensive powers, such as a shield form from his energy or energy blasts. His powers allow him to also take flight for faster travel.
