On board the ship, Allen one of the guardians that had normally protected the emperor was this time armed with his magical knowledge and guarding the five families. The mission here was a rather simple one namely that they would go in and discuss things with Lucien?s teachers and make a plan from there that should allow them hopefully to survive. Each member of the five families had different views on this, and while some of them liked it others did not like the idea of going up against Thel or Gregory. Yet if the people were to be free would that not be what they had to do?

The ship descended, and in a single file line each one stepped out of the ship with Allen leading.

Inside the dojo, the Five Families would meet two of Lucien's mentors, Empty being the third, obviously unable to attend this little meeting.

"Hello, young ones," the Karate instructor greeted the group as the two bowed out of respect, "Welcome to the dojo."

"Badly."

"Now it seems."

"That there is no other choice."

"But to unlock the ancient weapon of the emperors rather early."

Each member of the five families bowed, and then Allen bowed slightly. "Thanks for teaching me all those years ago." He said to the Karate Instructor. "Came back because things are getting bad. "

"Yes, we have been made aware of the situation going on at Memorial," replied the Fist Techniques instructor, "Our military is our greatest asset. We must now betray them."

"I agree," the Karate instructor replied, "Let us wait until we hear of Empty."

"Memorial is under anti magic, and the people have no way to defend themselves. We will soon go to the First Batallion but leave Allen here to do what must be done as we have instructed him. "

With that the Five Families walked back to the ship, flying it to the First Battallion and leaving Allen here.

"The sword must be remade. The time has come for Lucien to accept his destiny whether he likes it or not. And for the ancient armies to awaken once again to defend us from the threat of the Anrufe and the DAIS. Without the magic the people would normally have, we must provide something equally as powerful to protect them effective immediately."

Allen said those words before he started to meditate.

After the meditating was done, the two returned to their respective dojo rooms.

Going over to where the statue was of the ancestral dragon, Allen as he had been told to by the five families put his hand on it. Sending all the power they had lent into the dragon, he concentrated. "The time has come, the war has begun. Dragon, release your fire and sear the ground covering what you protect from this area."
