The Narikian Leaders who were called to First Battalion were put in a large meeting room to await a briefing from the Military Leaders.

Each member of the five families appeared. They looked paler and weaker than normal as most had given part of their magical energies to Allen to prepare him for what he would need to do before coming here but each was clad in robes that were more ancient than those of the Emperor and looked less ornate and more humble. None of them had weapons, or any technology on themselves. Harrisia arrived as she had been promoted to police chief, but now that was undone likely anyway.

Empty was escorted to the room where he proudly took a seat at the conference table.

The 5 Mechera Joint chiefs of Staff walked in. They were not accompanied by the Commander though.

"Commander Valdamee' apologizes for his absence for this meeting. He will arrive as soon as he is done." The Chairman of the JCOS announces. "You have all been called here today because King Falzone, and Commander Valdamee' have seen the recent events and decided that the Narikians are no longer fit to run their own government or people. Between the hate rallies against us, and the Commander, the blatant acts of war, bad politics with the rest of the plane, and constant other problems The king and the Mechera Leaders have issued an immediate Marshal Law under the Vassalized narikian Empire. Unfortunatly with that, you all hold no power until the Marshal Law is lifted."

He pulls out some papers regarding everything. "Due to drastic measures to ensure your own safety, you will be put under constant watch. Please donot try anything stupid." he looks over the room. "Any questions Ladies and Gentlemen?"

"Constant watch means we can't do anything? Not even head to the ancient world we have found and prepare for what comes next? Am was a bad idea by the way that made many of the people angry. "

The five families never again would have authority, even after it was lifted. For they would retire soon. And leave their power in the hand of someone more skilled and capable, Lucien.

Empty looked over to the Five Families, politely motioning for them to be silent.

"I apologize for their actions, sirs. I am Empty, I was proclaimed just two days ago as the new emperor of the Narrikians. I have yet to meet with you gentlemen, the King, or the Commander, due to a still ongoing crisis among our people. I would, however, ask that later on today, I be given the chance to speak with all of you."

The Five Families became quiet. But one could tell something about them if he had any magical sense or if anyone in the room did. Over the course of the conversation their magical signatures were dropping extremely. What was being done with their magic though that required them to use up most of it?

"Granted..." The Chairman replied. "We do apologize for springing this upon you Emperor so early on in your reign, but we had to make a call. Things were getting out of hand. Commander Valdamee' will be here shortly." they scan the room once more. "Any more questions?"

"Why do you confiscate all stuff? Even Family Heirlooms? You do realize it will be nearly impossible after it is lifted for everyone to get everything back that is theirs correct?" asked one of the five families. "And AM. Suppressing magic seems to be wrong and cruel. Especially in that particular form. "

"These are drastic times. We cannot risk the possibility of any kind of civilian retaliation. If you do not grasp the concept of Marshal Law, then we will be so kind as to explain sir." He replies to the family member

"The DAIS fleet have made it clear they plan to kill all the Narrikians. And so have the Anrufe made it clear. Without magic, or weapons the civilians would be helpless if they had to flee or do anything and with your blockade none of them can go anywhere. "

"But very well. We shall not object to the martial law or attempt to get it cancelled or lifted at all. Now if you will excuse us, we have another place we must be at that Empty knows the coordinates of. "

The one who had spoke held out his hand, weak blue sparks shooting out and forming a portal/door way.

The Chairman stops them. "You are not dismissed!" he says in a very commanding voice. "The DAIS more notably the Director has pledged a respectful relationship to the Mechera. So if anything, be grateful that you now have such a heavy Mechera presence on the planet. The DAIS refuse to kill Mechera." He says. "I ask that you all remain here for final briefing from Commander Valdamee'"

Since they were stopped, they all continued. They were sending their magic to Allen now, all that they could and still survive.

"No thank you." With that the Five Families had Harrisia join in sending her magical energies once she had arrived here to Allen as well. One way or another he would have the magic needed.

Empty sipped on a glass of water while looking over the Five Families.

"Alright, guys, leave this to me, alright? You all mean well, but you don't know how to talk to these people."

"Attention!" The Join Chiefs of staff stood up straight and saluted. "Commander of deck" the Chairman announced as Thel walked into the room.

"At ease..." he says and they relax. "For those of you who don't know already, I am Supreme Commander Valdamee', the Commander-in-Chief of the M-N combined military, and now acting ruler of the Narikians. As my Chiefs have already briefed you, the Narikians are under an immediate Marshal Law order by the authority of your lords, the Mechera." A Chief briefly interrupts him to whisper something in his ear and point to Empty.

"So once again the Narikians have chosen a new emperor... Would you kindly introduce yourself as we did not get to in the Kings chambers"

Each of the five families saluted Thel before closing their eyes. One could feel magic in the room, a stronger magic than what would normally be available for Narrikians, as the five families were ancient they had tons of experience and power at their disposal but did not like to flaunt it unless it would be of course required for them to do such, but now the situation demanded they act. Empty had asked they leave this to him, and so they would. But now they would continue to concentrate on their plan they had formed. One way or another, Lucien would be ready for whatever trouble came after Plex. Lucas had given them a full de-briefing on Plex earlier on. So they kept sending magic to Allen.

Harrisia just saluted, and then sat back down.

Empty stood when Thel entered the room, respectively standing at attention and bowing to the Military Commander. He was, after all, a civilian emperor, not military. He offered his hand in a very diplomatic gesture to the Commander.

"Empty Shade, sir. It's a pleasure."

One of the Five Families took out a notepad and began to write on it. What he was writing was in a hand-writing that had not been seen in this dimension yet or deciphered by the Mechera even, the Narrikians didn?t even have data on this form of dialect in any of their computers. These laws should be Anti Belkan enough to calm the people down when issued. Once he had written them, he tore off the sheet of paper and handed it to Empty. Telepathically he said to Empty. ?When the Martial Law ends, here is some of the laws you should pass if you can-

Law 1:
In case Martial Law should be declared the use of the technology known as the AM field is hereby prohibited by amendment O of the military laws proposed by the Five Families and submitted to Gregory for immediate viewing.

Law 2:
Civilian use of AM along with military use while not during martial law is prohibited unless it is a requirement for said facility to have AM field technology.

Law 3:
In the case of un-lawful search and seizure legalized during martial law the personal items are NOT allowed to be placed under any form of AM, so that if the people have put magic on them for easy retrieval they may gain access once more to their belongings once the Martial Law has ended if they so desire of course.

Law 4:

All Grunder Industries weapons and products upon further research have been declared permanently unsafe for any civilian, police or military use whatsoever. By this, all are to be turned in to Lucas Silver for destruction effective immediately.

Law 5:
Any former Grunder Employee is subject to intense background screenings, memory probes and any other investigation the five families deem vital if he holds any political, military or civilian office of any variety for any period of time. If such a person is found guilty of crimes of the agency he once worked for he will then be subjected to termination from his place of employment no matter his rank. Also he will be subject to being fined the sum of 15.2 billion credits and put in jail. Bail for such a person will be 3 billion credits.
Law 6:

Immediate production of new technology for computer systems is a priority. All available technicians and what not are to be put on this effective immediately.

Law 7: As much as it pains me to use the technology of a former emperor, the Magi-Android and the ISDT project must be brought back.

Law 8: The IG is reassembled and reformed.

Law 9: The people now no longer have curfews, and can have all their possessions back effective immediately.

Law 10: All former BG operatives are granted a total amnesty, including ones forced into it. Same goes for EG operatives or anyone similar.

(Hawk, you miss the concept of Marshal law. During marshal law, whoever controls the military has absolute control. No red tape or laws to follow. I could have you executed if I wanted)

OOC- my point being, if you make a law that says i cant do something during marshal law, I have no obligation to listen to it or follow it. Marshal Law is a Direct Action semi-Military Dictatorship under control of whoever is the Commander-in-Chief of the Military. Like if you said i cant confiscate weapons, if marshal law is declared, not only could i take them, i could kill you with your own if i wanted too. In addition, you are in no position to make any laws that interfere with the military or what they use, and most if not all Grunder Ind Employees left. The only one i could really think of is harrisa and Halsey.
