Portals began rippling over the city in a concentrated five mile radius. They were nothing more then brief ripples in space time, not true portals. Nothing could come through them, and flickered and bubbled dimly... But muffled, broken up voice came through it.
"SHU- UNSTABL- WATCH- Careful- I can hear you breathing, it's-" Various voices said through the portals, before the disturbance ceased happening as quickly as it had started.
