Slowly handing the empty bottle back, Brio raises a hand in silence, belching loudly.
"Naw, naw... S'okay... Jus'... Lemme get my Sax..." With some effort, he unlocks the case, pulling out the beautiful instrument which shined brilliantly in the bar light.
Only... He couldn't play it. Every note lulled and sputtered out, out of tune. He tried desperately repeatedly, only succeeding in sounding like a dying cat. He let it slip from his slack, drunk lips, breathing alcohol breath at the bartender.
"On shecond thought bosh... Bette' git me one..."
Suddenly, without him touching it, the saxophone gave out one quick, sharp note, incredibly loud, hurting the ears of everyone in the room. It was not happy with his lack of ability.
