A Drunk Templar and a Kitsune Sage

[King Jeebus]

The way Jay had ordered the room was nigh on perfect; It was a silver and black themed room with a huge double bed and a single camp-bed, clearly during one of his freezes Jay had moved some of his stuff into the room- In the corner there was an old, tattered wooden violin, Jay's sword and hung on the sword was what appeared to be a silver cape-cloak with a crossed arrow symbol on the back.
In the room hung a few stock pictures that the hotel had put up; Some simple abstract art from small time artists.
Jay wandered into the room, laughing a little. He was no longer wearing the suit jacket and his tie was loosened.
"Miss Inari!" He said, laughing "Your chambers m'lady!" He said this in her native language.

[Queen Bright]

"Are you sure this okay?" Inari questioned after blinking in surprise that he knew the language of the Kitsune Sages. "I don't want to intrude. I can still try to get a room.."

[King Jeebus]

"Course it is" Jay wandered into the room proper, swaggering over to the cape hung on his sword and throwing it over his shoulders, wearing it over his shirt and tie "What d'you think?" He chuckled "Hero of Light Jay Stryder"
The Templar continued laughing, wandering back over to Inari

"Uhh.. I think you looked better in the hat... I mean! The cape looks good too." Inari quickly caught herself in her words while following him in. "No offense?"

[King Jeebus]

Jay snapped his fingers and he was wearing the hat and cloak at the same time "Howsh about this?" He winked and stuck out his tongue

Inari tilted her head to the side a bit. "Is this a lesson too?"

[King Jeebus]

"Yep!" Jay laughed, sitting down at the nearby table "You have to always look awesome. All of the time...." Jay chuckled "But seriously, not everything is a lesson; Not everything has a purpose. Like I said, cut loose; Do what YOU want to do." He smiled, sitting back in the chair "While you wanna attain your goals, you also gotta realise that life isn't all about going from point to point. It ain't about the destination, Inari" He appeared like right in front of her again "It's all about the journey" He said this in her language again; It's surprising how many languages one can learn in a hundred thousand year lifespan.

[Queen Bright]

"You sure do things a lot different than Mistress Hikaru, Mister Jay." Inari commented as she jumped back in surprised when he appeared  in front of her. "Everything she did or said was a lesson. The only times it wasn't was when we were on the run from the Aralangs." She tilted her head a bit. "But even that was still a battle."

[King Jeebus]

"Every master teaches their apprentice differently." Jay chuckled, appearing on one of the seats nearby "Y'see the problem is, a man with as much time as myself.... Well, I can't afford to take everything fully seriously." He put his feet up on the table "It's the first thing they teach a young Templar; To have hobbies and cut loose and stuff." His hat appeared in his hand and he placed it atop his head "This can be applied to anyone though. Go full throttle all the time and you burn out."

[Queen Bright]

"They?" Inari questioned. She remained standing close to the door, hesitant to move. She was about to ask more on the hobbies, but then stopped and instead questioned the last statement, "Couldn't you just use a healing potion or spell to revitalize? That's what I was originally taught to do."

[King Jeebus]

"Nothin' compares to a good nights sleep or just generally kicking back." Jay motioned to Inari to sit with him "They meaning the people who originally taught me." He laughed "That was prolly their best lesson though. The rest of the lessons were all of this douchebag bullcrap."

[Queen Bright]

Inari took the seat opposite of him and sat criss-cross. "Really?" She blinked, "Like what?"

[King Jeebus]

"Well it was junk like 'if a race is beginning to show time travel abilities either bring em into the fold or kill 'em'" Jay sighed, a glass of wine appearing in his hand and the bottle and a second glass appearing on the table "Feel free to, one of my favorite vintages." He motioned to the wine "In essence 90% of their lessons involved basically just killing everything. Was kinda against that." He took a sip of the wine, it was fruity and red.

"No thanks." Inari shook her head. "What else? Why about killing?"

[King Jeebus]

"Call me old fashioned but not every problem can be fixed by swinging a sword at it or throwing a spell at it." Jay sighed, his age was clearly showing as he was getting quite pensive- Now slumped over the table "If a guy's gotta die then he's gotta die but well... Only as a last resort and never just fuckin' indiscriminately..." He sighed "I'm sure your Mistress Hikaru taught you differently again." He cracked a smile "I just gotta try help everyone."

Inari was about to nod then stopped, "Actually no.." she commented. "Despite calling herself evil, Mistress Hikaru never actually intentionally killed anyone. Even in battle."So that part's not different." Inari started to yawn but quickly stopped herself.

[King Jeebus]

Jay stood and yawned, stretching. He froze time for a moment to look up a spell then returned to normality- Completely sober. "I HATE using that spell." He grumbled, still wearing his cape and hat over his white shirt and black suit trousers. He patted Inari on the shoulder "Tell you what, sleep on it kiddo." He laughed a little "If you feel you wanna be my apprentice, awesome. I'll teach you what I know and I may even teach you some Templar tricks. If not, i'll still help you get your sword back." He laughed a little before the door knocked. "I'll come back soon, im tired myself. You go on to bed" He answered the door to Reyky
