If it's needed for the story. Dunno about Zak and Lyoko's character. But... Kurai has her reasons currently. Plus with "18+" put on the title as a warning it's a persons own fault if they click it. The topics are set that way for a reason. So if parents complain we can tell them "Well your kid chose to click it, not our fault."

Can I just point out that to legally have sex with someone the age is 16, and we're all older then that? Are we not allowed to read and write about it but allowed to go out and do it ourselves?

It is true, but seeing this kinda stuff is more or less pouring salt on the open wound. The parent already thinks we're a bunch of abusing weirdos for whatever reason, I think they'd like to add 'perverts' to that list of names more than anything just to have something against SP, y'know?
I think they made a brainwashing case? They could now come out with a whole 'Brainwashing with sexual abuse ZOMFG' thing, despite there being absolutely no grounds for it. People will do anything to win a court case. Anything.

On average in the US, the age of sexual consent is 16. However, you have to be 18, in some states older, to: Walk into an adult store or adult section of a video store, purchase and/or view pornography of any sort, and make/participate/contribute in any way to a pornography. Kinda dumb huh? You can have sex at 16, but you can't watch someone else do it until you're 18 or 21.

That's not the point... Well, the bit about a judge probably being able to differentiate between stuff maybe, but we're kind of detracting from the image we want to project to these people. They don't even need to read the topic to know that something in there is +18, regardless if it was skipped or not: they can just assume it happened, it was a part of the creative minds that wrote the post, and they can go right ahead and call said writers 'perverts' for even thinking of writing it. Maybe it won't hold any water in court, but it's kinda gray in the moral zone, gray enough that people really can take the wrong way and act on it. D:
