It had been some number of days since Eric had been placed under house arrest. Now, he approached the Zarethian Council, along with Yairhoff Haydenn, for evaluation.

Three ZPPA troops were escorting them, bringing them to the Council chamber.

"Eric Mann, you have been charged with Treason in the highest degrees and you plead not guilty. However, due to having no actual evidence to support this, you have been freed, within reason, and are free to continue about the campaigning. We will be watching you, however, and you are no longer the leader of the Hand. It has been seen fit to replace you, given your connection to recent events."
